On Sunday, July 10, 2005, I have purchased two CD's from MocVideoFilm, which located at 421 Brighton Beach Avenue in Brooklyn, NY. When I start listening to them, I have immediately discovered low quality records and the disk looked like a rip off of original media. In addition, second CD had 13 tracks of the music, but the back cover had 23 tracks of absolutely different artists.
Immediately went back to the store and kindly asked to exchange the CD's. The manager of the store has refused to change the media, and always come up with different excuses. I have left both CD's on the manager table, though I have spent $8 for each, and walk away. I am writing this latter not to get back my CD's or $17 that I have spend. The purpose of this latter is too worn others about MocVideoFilm scam. No matter if you want to buy media at store or over their web site mosvideofilm-usa.com, be aware that:
Many CD's or DVD's they carry are very low quality media.
Some of the media is scratched or damaged and according to my experience you will have problems to return the product back to the store. (p.c If you shop over web site, make sure that the address of the store on the website is different than original store location)
Watch out for fake rip-off media.
Most music CD's having different looks and names, but having the same song tracks, despite what is advertised on the back in many cases. Unfortunately you will not be able to discover this at the time of purchase, because Moc Video Film management will not allow you listening to the CD at the store.
I will never go to MocVideoFilm again, and I would never recommend shop at MocVideoFilm to others. Better shop at RBC, because they do respect their customers.
