FORD MOTOR COMPANY SUBCONTRACTED MOTOROLA TO PRODUCE AIRBAG AND ANTILOCK BRAKE CHIPS FOR ALL FORD VEHICLES WORLDWIDE.

THESE DEFECTS SHUT FORD PRODUCTIONS DOWN AS IT IS CURRENTLY WITH FIRESTONE TIRES.

THESE CHIPS ARE WORLDWIDE IN ALL FORD VEHICLES AND NO ONE KNOWS WHEN THEY WILL FAIL UNTIL THEY FAIL AND CANNOT BE TESTED.

TO MEET PRODUCTION QUOTA MOTOROLA SHIPPED THESE CHIPS TO FORD, AND FORD USED THEM TO KEEP PRODUCTION GOING BEFORE A SHUTDOWN WAS NECESSARY.

CURRENTLY, A SUIT IN FEDERAL COURT BY A WHISTLEBLOWER WHO WAS FIRED FOR FILING COMPLAINST ABOUT THESE DEFECTS IS PENDING IN FEDERAL COURT IN ARIZONA. RECENT COURT RULINGS WILL MAKE IT DIFFICULT FOR MOTOROLA TO SHUN RESPONSIBILITY FOR ITS ACTIONS.

MOTOROLA ALSO WAS SUBCONTRACTED BY GM, BMW, AND OTHER MANUFACTURERS SO THIS PROBLEM MAY NOT BE ISOLATED TO FORD ONLY.
