Both my 2 year old daughter and 4 year old son stayed at your Mountain View Inn at 2726 Parkway, there in Pigeon Forge, we checked in, but never got in till 10:00 that eve. last night actually. 2/24/2007. After bring up the bags and children, we had noticed there were NO towels, and no phone number to call us back, for my family,
After advising the front desk of this, 2 hours later bringing up my towels, I was putting the kids to bed, but then noticed the sheets were still dirty and sandy, the carpets were not vacuumed, having food all over the floor, bathroom still dirty, called back down and complained some women answered at the front desk and after telling her what had happened, she stated " Oh well, what do you expect for 29.95 a night.?"
I then new we were stuck in this nasty room, in the morning (Sunday) 2/25/07) I awoke to take a shower and the towels the brought up had dried dirt and cleaning solutions on them, I brought it again to the attention of the clerk Robert Rightmyer. He said the same thing his female clerk did.He states if I would have told him he would have switched rooms.But that obviously didn't happen!
UNBELIEVABLE! I couldn't tell you if we would ever come back to pigeon forge, I am telling every fellow mason about this place and as well has the tn health dept.

Burt Latrue owns this motel along with Royal Inn Pigeon Forge, below is the Email I recieved from the Health Dept! It is really a shame these people cant get the recognition they deserve!
I wish Rip off report couldnt do anything to these people, like set up a Motel Sting! It would almost be a hit for a reality show to go around to people on these reports and catch them, On camera, and make it a national hit. It could be called R-O-C! Rip off cops! Below is the letter sent to me regarding the report.
I recieved your complaint regarding the Mountain Veiw Inn at 2726 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TN. This motels last three health inspection
scores were in the seventies which is poor. These inspection reports are required to be readily available upon request at every motel in the state of Tennessee for future reference. The scores they have recieved through the Department of health are reflective of the condition of the
establishment. There are critical and non critical violations on inspection report. They are required to fix critical items within 10
days. We can only close an establishment if they have no water or if sewage is backing up into the actual rooms. Otherwise the establishment
is given a period of ten days to correct any critical violations. The majority of the motels in Pigeon Forge do a wonderful job. However, we
can only leave these places with a numerical score. We can only hope that the public takes these scores into consideration. I will perform
a complete inspection today on Mountain View Inn. Be sure to check Health Department scores in the future they can be very useful.

Well, Still havent heard anything from them but was notified by the local health inspector it was scored the worst motel in Pigeon Forge, Tn. Mountain View inn, Pigeon Forge Tn. They advised me yesterday they are going to fully inspect the Motel again. The Inspector advised me he wasnt surprised. It is listed the Worst in Pigeon Forge, Nasty dirty Burt Petrell also owns Royal Inn in Pigeon forge as well, and dont care about his customers!
