I scheduled my move more than two months in advance & inquired abou the procedure. I was told tha MOve@once only needed 7 days at the most to move my goods from Bham, AL to Silver Spring MD area. On the day of my move there was no driver and no word from Move@once. I called the company and was told that the truck had broken down and that there was no definite time as to when the driver would arrive. My furnishings were packed and my apartment lease had expired. It would take 2 to 3 weeks to arrag and schedule a pickup by another company. I had paid $300 deposit to "book my pickup date". I was stuck with this company. The elapsed time between my scheduled pickup date and actual delivery time was nearly two weeks instead of the promised 7 days. The price was 3 times the estimate. The truck-if you can believe it--broke down between 6 and 7 times enroute from Birmingham to the Maryland area.

I had to stay in the Maryland area at my own expense for several days waiting on Move@once. Their response to my complaints was that "they could not control the number of times the truck broke down". What a bunch of pathetic and incompetent morons!! It is amazing to me how they stay in business. I guess the answer is by ripping off first time customers like myself. I sent in a complaint with BBB serving Southeast Florida. My case# 30018477. I also sent in a complaint to the Florida State Attorney Generals Office.

Move@once basically refuted what I said and told the BBB that things went smoothly.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I CALLED AND THEY ARE STILL DOING BUSINESS
