Advanced Moving System Inc. a month late furniture destroyed

On March 1st they were schelduled to picked my stuff up at my house in Piqua, Ohio. They were 5 1/2 hours late. After they loaded up my stuff, they told me the price. It TRIPLED from the original quote.

But in setting up my contect, this company told me it would be guaranteed to arrive in Peoria in 7 - 10 days. So, after being told that, I drove and arrived there on the 7th day from the pickup.

At the 10 day I called them and they said it would be another week before they arrived. After 7 days pasted with no phone call, I called them again and they said 3 more days.

After 3 days past with no phone call, I called them again and they said 7-10 more days.

So at the 10the day of this, I called them and they said they
would arrive on that Sunday in the afternoon. Sunday night came and they called and said they would be another day late and would arrive on that Monday at 10:00am. It wasn't until that Monday at 7:00pm they arrived.

When they arrived, they wanted the money up-front prior to me checking our stuff. When unloaded, ALL the big stuff like the new bedroom suit, computer desks, coffee tables, etc were badly damaged. But heres the crazy part. I called the company and
asked them how they can make restitutution to me because I didn't feel I should have paid this company the full amount since they took almost a month to get my stuff here.

The manager just cussed me out and said NO to any discount or anything. I want at least $2,000 dollars back of the 3,000 I paid them. You have to understand something, I quite my County job and drove out here to Arizona to arrive on the 7th day
that they promised.

Because they were so late, I could have worked a couple of extea weeks to get more money for the move. Plus, when I arrived here, I had nothing. Not even a bed to sleep in. I slepted on
the floor for almost 3 weeks. I couldn't even look and interview for a job because they had my resume on the truck that they promised in 7-10 days. And the fact that they never called during all this, makes me angry.

This company has extremely poor service. This company is a joke. Never would I use a moving company again!
