Moving U 4 Less ripoff dishonest rude blackmailers-unprofessional Reseda California

Well, my nightmare started on Nov 25. 2005 they day I was suppose to move from Sacramento to Bakersfield, CA. Moving U 4 Less was suppose to show up at 8:00 am and no one called till I finally called at 10:00. The answer I got was that they are almost there. No one showed up for hours and all I got was excuses and more excuses. They finally showed up at 4:00 pm. One of the guys wanted to get paperwork out of the way so as we were going over the details I noticed that someone (the owner - Ronen) handwrote and increased the per pound price on my contract. It took few phone calls for them to fix it and then they started demanding the total due in Cash. No where in my contract did it day that I had to pay cash rather it said that they accept MasterCard and Visa. More arguing and then they said ok to credit card. By this time it was already 5:30. We specifically asked they crew leader (Asi) if there are any other charges we should know about. He said NO! Thirty minutes later afterwards they started coming with list of items that needed to be special wrapped and not only will it cost us for the material but the labor was not included. They were going to charge us $ 150 to wrap our mattresses. We told them we were not going to have our mattress wrapped. So few more calls and wastage of time and they said ok we won't wrap the mattress. They kept picking and choosing what will be taken and what will be left behind. We had not other alternative other than leave things behind. Well that was not end of our nightmare. Then they told us that we will need to wait ill next day for delivery. All day they were telling us that this was same day delivery and they will deliver even if it's past midnight. We had nothing on us; everything was packed in the truck. This was most ridiculous way we were ever treated. When we disagreed we were yelled on by the driver (Omer) and shift leader (Asi). They threatened us that they were taking off with our stuff and we could do what we want. We never felt so abused ever in our lives as these two most illiterate people were talking down to us and continued treating us like nobody. Next day when they delivered they had list of extra they were going to charge. We were forced to sign the contract if we wanted our belongings. We were made to pay $ 264 more than what we owed them. When they had there paperwork they became ever more rude that before. They were walking all over our brand new carpet with there mud filled shoes. We had to spend next few days just cleaning the marks on the carpet. Some of the big furniture had scratches on them. They did not install our study desk correctly. One of the beds was assembled so loose that the mattress fell on the ground that same night. I just want to say that stay away from this company. If I were to ever move again and this company was the last one on earth then I will rather donate all my furniture and belongings that dealing with them. Worst experience ever in life!
