We recieved a letter stating that we won a sweepstakes online and they had tried to contact us for several months. We were very cautious about this and my husband was able to contact the individual by phone. "Mr Bradley stated no money would be required up front and all fees and taxes would be taken out and we would recieve a check. We recieved the check-$2950.00-and another letter stating we had to call and close out the remainder of the winnings. Needless to say, we took the bait- come to find out-the check we recieved was counterfit-but the damage was already done upon deposit.
