The owner of this particular Mr Sandless franchise came to my house two weeks before the actual job to give me an estimate. I told him that I had ripped up the carpet and noticed I had beautiful hardwood floors underneath, but there were stains and other areas that I was concerned about. He told me how everything would be fine once their process was completed. I had put some Rejuvenate from Home Depot on the floor, just to keep it from getting messed up until they did the floors.

They came to do the floors at 10:00am and were done at 2:30. They did my living room, dining room and hallway. They had me sign a piece of paper stating that the floor had stains and scratches and other problems. This paper should have been presented to me before they did the floor, not after the fact. The floors looked almost the same as when I put Rejuvenate on them. The floors will have to be covered with area rugs and runners to even be usable. I called the franchise owner and his answer was that "we couldn't tell how the floors would come out until after we were done". Coming from a "professional", I think that is a BS answer. He knew the stains weren't going to come out and went ahead with the job anyway. Stay clear of this company unless your floors are perfect to begin with.

Give Me A Break

AUTHOR: Petep10 - ()

POSTED: Monday, December 22, 2014

See my rebuttal above. My wife and I make plenty of money. So your insinuations are completely unfounded. Money had nothing to do with it. I know what a mess it is to have hardwood floors sanded, that's why I went with your company. Your defensive actions in your rebuttal of something I posted 4 years ago, show the public what your true intentions are.

Not Blackmail--Just Bad Work

AUTHOR: Petep10 - ()

POSTED: Monday, December 22, 2014

Nice of you to reply 4 years later. I don't think Blackmail is the correct term for what I have stated. Let's let the public decide. I haven't asked for a refund. I haven't asked for the job to be done for free. So, where is the "Blackmail".

If I had checked this site before I got the work done, I would have known better. There are plenty of horror stories on here about the Mr. Sandless Franchises. Yours is no different. I also never did a follow up to state how the moldings your men installed came apart a few weeks later. So, get off your high horse, man up and admit when you're wrong. I've owned my own company for 22 years. Customer service and satisfaction are my main goals. What are yours?

So, for those people reading this, do your own due diligence. Google the company and read the reviews. There are some good reviews, but there are plenty of bad ones too.

It is amazing how somtimes you run into bad people while owning a business. In all the years I have been in business I run into a customer that wants free services. (not very often thank god most people are good people) I dont run a welfare agency I employ famly people who are looking for an honest days pay who do great work .My goal is to make customers happy...I dont sucomb to blackmail or threats. so with that being said blog what you must but I will not be blackmailed or threatend with bad blogs. My numbers do the talking ..in business since 2006 110000 homes refinished and only your moronic blog to combat my successs..do the numbers. I would never be in business if we did bad work not in this economy and certanly not this long. so go back and blackmail some other poor soul with your dark threats..I will be the guy still booking jobs and making people happy with our service while you do what you do...trying to get free service and ripping business owners off at every chance you get
