murphy gas lapeer location imlay city road rip off tank situation lapeer Michigan

i purchased 21 dollars in gas at the murphy station in Lapeer, located in the parking lot of our local walmarts.  I didn't look until I "was half way home to see how much I received and then I saw that the indicator showed it only went up 1/8 of a tank.   I have an HHR.  When I put in gas (especially at 3.19 per gallon, I ALWAYS get at least 1/2 tank.   I looked at the mileage indicator for how far I could go on my present amount and it said 94 miles.  My car gets no less then 21 miles to the gallon so at $21 I should have no less then 120 miles registered.  (and that is a conservative estimate.   At first, I thought maybe it was my imagination, but then I remembered how quickly It poured into my tank and how fast the numbers were flying for the lower price that I was getting it for. 

I did call the station to tell them and the person answering just said there were "no other complaints registered"  I'm sorry... it sounded like a practiced statement as she did not seem suprized at all.   

I beleive that the advertised dollar number does not fit the amount received  at the pump.  

I did go back and told her I was going to make a complaint, again she did not seem very suprised. 

I will be registering my complaint in Lansing as well.  We cannot afford to waste money on gas.  

This is something I will probably never be able to prove but I am certain there are problems with this gas pump.
