My Urgent dentistry - Kakaris Dental Kakaris Dental Over Billed My Dental Insurance Company "Metlife" $1000.00 Woodhaven Michigan

*PLEASE ALL CONSUMERS READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO TO THIS DENTIST* I went to this Dentist on a Saturday evening with a broken tooth. They helped relieve me of the pain and the Dentist was nice and gentle. BUT, when I was registering as a patient BEFORE I was seen the receptionist could NOT explain the billing, how much it would cost, how much the visit was, how much my dental insurance would cover, nothing. They avoided answering the questions and just kept reassuring me my "Dental Insurance would cover it." Nervous and in major pain, I just gave in, agreed and trusted them. Now the scary part, when I went to leave they charged me $1346.00 cash…. That cost included a $880.00 emergency visit…. Then the balance was for 1/2 of the root canal that needed to be done. I was sick to my stomach and could not believe they charged me that. I asked the receptionist if they could give ne a detailed bill and said they would along with submitting it to my Dental Insurance Company "Metlife." We purchased the very best policy available from Metlife and they told me I was "severely overcharged" and they only can cover $346.00 because they over billed them. Now, thanks to "My Urgent Dentistry", I am out approximately $1000.00 cash… Now, I don't know what to do but give a fair warning to my fellow consumers… So, be careful and don't get screwed over like I did when I was in severe pain.
