After being told by a friend that there is an online profile on me, I decided to conduct an Internet search for my name. Sure enough, there it was on mylife.com, a detailed account of the last 5-6 years of my life, including the cities in which I have lived and when I moved there, the names of my family members, and other very private information that if it were correct, would be a gross invasion of my privacy. I, at no time, ever signed up for a mylife.com profile or membership. I don't even have a facebook, twitter, or linkedin account, so there would be no reason for me to sign up for something like mylife and put all of my personal business out there for the world to see. Needless to say, I am outraged and feel violated!

I wrote a letter to Jeffrey Tinsley who is either still the CEO or is the former CEO of mylife.com explaining why his website needed to remove my name and personal data. I also told Jeffrey Tinsley that there is no email address that can be linked to the mylife.com profile that is showing for me. I have never received any notifications or email messages from mylife.com. Typically, and in the past, when I have signed up for something online, I receive an email confirmation. So, where is it? It doesn't exist because I never signed up for mylife.com!!! This is a website that was set up to steal your personal information from public records and utility records, then extort you in order to have it removed! Two weeks passed after I sent my letter, yet my profile is still showing. So, I called the toll free number for mylife.com customer service, and a recording stated that in order to have a profile removed or membership cancelled, I could do one of two things: Pay $7.99 via credit or debit card (like I would trust these crooks with this), or log into the profile for my name and delete the entire contents of the profile.

I have issues with each of these "options." First, like I said, I do not trust the people operating this website based on the extent to which they went in order to dig up information on me. And, based on the fact that I do not have any log on and password information for the record that was fraudulently created using my name. I know that extortion involved the threat of violence, and mylife.com has not done this, but what they are doing sounds illegal. Jeffrey Tinsley is a low life, thief who will pick your pocket if you get close enough to him. He is a common criminal who should be in federal prison with the rest of the white collar criminals who get caught committing financial fraud.  I refuse to simply give this useless excuse for a human being $8.00 for nothing. What a way to earn a living - just sit around the house all day in your pajamas collecting $8.00 from millions of people who had nothing to do with your services or products. I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General in my state which is run by a hard nosed, extremist republican who has a very low tolerance for this type of behavior. I also need to research which, if any, federal government agency has oversight over Internet fraud and scams, and file a complaint with it as well.

It is interesting to know whether or not a class action lawsuit exists against mylife.com by individuals in other states who have been a victim of this site's massive fraud. Jeffrey Tinsley needs to get a real and respectable job. Oh, I forgot, criminals can't get those types of jobs; they can only survive by creating and pulling off one scam after another.
