I answered an ad for part time life insurance sales. I have 3 years experience and wanted to make part time money. They supply the leads and there was no "start up costs". Met a man named Dennis.  Tried to get me to go to an opportunity meeting. Its a recruiting tool  for me to bring in agents.(that part Im fine with as I have no intention of doing recruiting) I said all I want is some leads.....and some part time cash. I have a stellar closing record. Bear in mind Dennis, as a manager knew very little about life insurance and had virtually no direct closing experience.

He failed to mention a $170 start up costs for some class to jump my commission levels. I said I am fine with the initial level and told him 4 times my goal was just a little part time money. He places me on the phone with some fast talking idiot names Barry Clarkson, like I was supposed to be impressed with his title. About a week later he  tries to get a credit card number for" contracting"...they didnt tell me what that fee would be, then the guy accuses me of mean mouthing his secretary and tries to force me on a conference call? I was like what is wrong with these nit wits. He was treating me like a child who was misbehaving. It was lies upon lies and misinformation. My advise is to stay clear of these people!

Sir,
I am glad it is going goo for you and your daughter. Did you have any insurance experience prior?  I believe that the gentleman who I spoke with and insulted my intelligence was a higher-up whose name was on the website. He wasnt a rep. The rep Dennis was nice and just didnt know hat he was doing(and he was to manage me having delivered over a hundred policies) The company is a rip off of Primerica, which is a great organization and I worked for for 3 years. I would still be there....except I do not wish to recruit anyone anymore.

Having been there for 6 months and using it for a little income supplementation....it may be good enough for you, but the management are scoundrels.  If I were a betting man I would say once the honey moon is over you will move on.

NAA is a joke

And if you're doing well with him, it won't last if it's not already came to a head.  They will sell you bad lead and debit your checking account just like they do everyone.  I was with NAA from 06 to 08 and could kick myself for ever joining them and paying out the arse for conventions etc.  Not to mention all the times I listened to their preaching (wasted time) and kool aid drinkers.  A good friend of mine was in the top income earners and getting her ring at the last convention all the while she maxed every credit card she had just to make the trip to Dallas for the ring.  She said it was the hardest thing in the world to stand up there and smile with them making her sound rich and successful yet all the while she was flat broke and now has leins on everything she owns (they don't tell you about the charge backs and high lead costs).  Don't believe the hype folks....only a few make $$ in NAA since Andy Albright took over.  They have always been in the recruiting business, not insurance.  Also, the companies they have are all over priced and many have had recievership taken by their state.  I wrote over 300 apps and have never recieved one dime from residuals.  Andy gets all that.

The Rest of the Story about NAA

AUTHOR: Les Caldwell - (United States of America)

I also answered an ad for a part time life insurance sales position. I am 60 years old and was born at night but not last night....I was never asked to give NAA any money up front for "Start Up Cost"...I met with a man by the name of Rick that gave me all direct answers to my direct questions.  That was 6 months ago and I have never been happier in my life.  This company and Rick have done everything that they told they would do and more. My reply to this person... who ever this jerk was by the name of Dennis..just remember one bad apple in this organization doesn't ruin it for everyone....As a matter of fact my daughter has gotten involved and we rented us a little 700 sq ft building and we are having a ball helping families in our area with Mortgage Protection- Final Expense Insurance....If you want to hear the other side of the story..Please email me at (((Redacted)))....You will not regret getting involved with NAA....For those who maybe wondering if  was paid for this rebuttal....Certainly not...I just dislike only one side on any story and now you know the rest of the story as Paul Harvey used to say...  Have a Great Holiday Season and God Bless

Les C
