Brad E. from National Advertising Cervices came to my place of business and offered an ad space in "Green" magazine. I just started a business and was looking for places to advertise. The contract I signed stated that this magazine will be distributed in our new Stater Bros, very popular place in my town. I paid $148.00 for the art work.

It took me at least a month to get the ad the way I wanted, after I approved it I immediately got a bill for the first installment plus a payment charge. I called the corporate office and talked to Trish in billing, and she made me a deal only $690.00 for the whole year, they, as she explained, had a special promotion. I paid over the phone using my debit card. She said that the shipment of the magazine will begin June 1st, 2009, and by the 15th it will be distributed in Stater.

This is the end of August, and nothing had been distributed. I called and left messages with billing department and with Brad - nobody returned my calls. I feel very discouraged to be ripped off like this, but I learned my lesson - I will never advertise in any kind of publications, unless it is a local newspaper. I would gladly join any law suite to see those people stopped.
