I walked in, ate, and walked out, never to return. The End. Well, not really.

In order to provide an informative recollection of "the experience" Um, there wasn't one. The place was crowded, rude service, and no offering of a refund upon my request from experiencing such "mayhem." Great place, let me tell ya.

I went in, and it was dead. Nama opened about 3 minutes after 11:00 a.m. and I had been standing there at 5 minutes prior. So waiting in the cold for about 8 minutes. Typical West Coast BS. Used to it by now, been around travellin etc.

Anyhow, I was a bit ticked about waiting in the cold, got over it. Thought some soup would help.

I had a computer with me, and was travelling (America doesn't have Internet cafes), which I relayed to the waitress. The woman at the counter, Marley, said to sit anywhere I like, it shouldn't be a problem.

Sure thing. I ordered a meal made with gluten free noodles and 'vegan' technically speaking.

I sat in a corner, near a plug outlet and needed to use the laptop in a serious capacity.

The meal came out in a timely fashion. Technically, I believe I ordered under the Ramen section of the menu. There were generous noodle portions, but only two tofu pieces? Um, okay? (I later googled 'Japanese Ramen Vowl' and saw photos of restaurant ramen bowls with three to four times the amount of tofu. So, I wasn't delusional thinking I had been jipped!

I went up to inquire into why the tofu portions were two pieces. The same waitress stated, "that's how it comes, I should have explained that before." Um, okay. But, you .... didn't!!! Woulda, shoulda, coulda.

I ordered two additional tofu pieces, which came out while I was in mid-meal. That was so, so, so strange. No one bothered me for say, 25 minutes. I had anticipated being there for at least one hour and a half.

During the meal, the place was packed. Mostly of families with teenage girls. The noise was intolerable. Giggling, screaming, parenting. Great.

My meal was interrupted by Marley who needed to use one of the tables I was using. The table I was at, apparently, was two small tables pushed together. I had spaced out my laptop and was quite comfortable.

Marley kept saying, "well it's up to you." Which meant, "give me the table." She really wanted the table. I mean, technically she couldn't just grab it out from under me. But, she was glaring at me like I was doing something wrong using the space as how it was arranged when I first arrived?

Rude!

So now, a whole d**n family is next to me. Great. The table the waitress rearranged was literally six inches from mine ( see photo)

I came to find out the people sitting next to me, their kid was named Bailey. "Bailey" approximately 6? kept squirming. Probably childhood ADD. So, I heard the mother yelling at "Bailey" the whole time. "Bailey stop that." "Bailey, but that down."

OMG.

Shortly thereafter, I went up to the register and asked for a refund. I was told by Marley, "you can only receive a refund if you don't like the food."

So, you rush me out of the restaurant space, when I paid (mind you for one). And, when I previously inquired into using the laptop, all of which you said were fine. You slam a family next to me (yes more people equates to more profit on your end- I get it).

No refund led me to inquire into the owner's name and contact information. I only received a first name of Tommy with an e-mail address.

Transparency anyone? Nope.

I never wrote to "Tommy." Nor, desired to look up "Tommy."

Just don't do it - don't come in here.

One last thing - the place was serving American Soft Drinks (not so healthy) to go along with the meals. I was taken aback when I left and noticed some 12 year old girls drinking "Sprite."

What a hellish time.

You have got to be kidding me!!

First off you did not pay for any space!!! If you wanted to use your laptop I suggest you should have stayed in your Hotel or visited a Starbucks. This is an eating establishment meant for the purpose of EATING not hogging space.

And in AMERICA people drink soft drinks - how unhealthy they are is none of your concern. Seems that your attitude is the problem not the restaurants. Good riddance to bad rubbish like you. And in America we have to share spaces with others and don't b***h about and request a REFUND because we did not get our way like YOU expected to.
