Hello,

I needed a lawyer for a personal injury case in March 2016. I was referred to (((REDACTED))), a lawyer bsed in Palo Alto and working for the firm (((REDACTED))) law firm.

She asked me for a deposit of $6,000 in order to take my case and start working on it. i did pay the $6,000 deposit she was asking. The first 2 weeks, things were going fine.

But then, during the 3rd week, she started to bill me for things she did not do and for things which were irrelevant to my case. I started to call her and left a few messages on her voicemail and via email. She did not respond during 7 days. Then she said she had been too busy to work on my case and that I needed to pay the extra $3,000 she was aksing in order to continue the case. I told her that I could not pay more for things which were irrelevant to my case and for things I never asked her to do.... 

She then became angry over the phone and told me that if I did not pay her the extra $3,000, then she would not continue to work on my case and that I would lose my $6,000 deposit...Unreal. (((REDACTED))) even threatened me with a lawsuit if I was writing any negative comments about her and her lawfirm (((REDACTED))).

I am not sure what I will do next but a friend suggested that I write something on Ripoffreport so that other people would know about (((REDACTED))) and how she does business as a lawyer. i am not a rich person and these $6,000 I lost are tough to swallow.
