National Allilance Of Associations Ripped Off on Refund Turnersville New Jersey

I answered a fax advertisement for affordable health insurance. I was told by the "agent" when I enrolled that I could cancel for any reason and receive a refund for my first month "premium". When I received my enrollment package, I discovered that it was not a health insurance policy like I was led to believe but a membership. I have contacted the National Alliance of Associations nummerous times after I received my notice of cancellation to refund my $424. They sent a letter of acknowledgement that my membership had been cancelled and I would receive my refund in 4-6 weeks. After 30 days, they withdrew another $299 from my checking account. Calls to their number leave me on hold for long periods of time. When you ask the operator for a supervisor, you are transfered to a voice mail box of an unidentified person, who according to the recorded greeting will return your call. An e-mail request submitted on the company web site resulted in a reply from Mindy who indicated that my money would be refunded within a couple of days. An attempt to re-contact Mindy says she is no longer available. No one is available to answer any questions or give any answers to why my money has not been refunded. This is a bad situation that needs to be looked into and consumers money refunded. This should be considered criminal and dealt with.
