When I spoke with the lady at end of conversation with the Administrator she said it would be a day to correct my listing they screwed up and I would hear from them.  They did not fix it after repeated requests.  I could not get them on the phone again.  Very unprofessional! This did not smell good after I thought about it and called back to cancel my NAPPS listing altogether.  They did cancel it finally but will not return my funds!!!

These people are rip-off artists.  I bet they sit at their desks and brag about the sucker (me) they convinced to give them a payment for services they have no intention of providing.  

Gary A. Crowe should learn from his late father how to be ethical and go by the Golden Rule.  In the digital age word spreads quicky and it is unfortunate how nasty and unethical this Association has become with him.  When Members choose to cancel their listings the funds should be refunded and pro-rated as well.  

The free market we live in allows for freedom of choice.  Membership in a scam-artist association is not for me and now 3 other Members I know who canceled their association with NAPPS permanently.  

There are other way better Process Server Associations run by honest people with good character much more wothwhile than NAPPS.

NAPPS is a fraud!

I am an advertiser and paid $150 to list my add for my process serving book.  Claire Scull, Administrative Secretary for NAPPS took my credit card information and placed my order for my add to appear in the current 2015 copy of The Docket Sheet.  She made numerous promises to send me a copy of the docket sheet publications my add appeared in.  Months went by and I never received a copy of this pulication proving my add had appeared.  Clair and other staff members lied to me claiming that the issue my add was to appear in had not been printed.  I found out from other members that the relevant issue WAS actually printed and sent to members without my add.  They lied o me on numerous occassions.  What a rip off.  Be aware of the group.  I have been informed that the directors/board are ripping off its members.  Avoid NAPPS!!!!

It is a fraud. Gary runs the international business from the office.it is a scam avoid like the plague. If you are a client of NAPPS don't use the members they are not professionals at all. The only thing it takes to be a member is you can't be a felon in the past 5 years. What standards is that? They have had process servers who are on the sex register who are convicts and worse yet sewer servers.

 

What a sham they are don't use the members. They are thieves and liars all of them and in a traverse hearing no credibility what so ever. Defense attorney will rock their history in a New York minute.

As a Napps watcher and one familiar with their antics, I and others find it objectionable that this Administrator, "Mr. Crowe" blames his victims by suggesting they have an agenda.

Nothing could be further from the truth.  All they really want is to be treated failrly and equitably like any reasonable person or member would.  The law is the law no matter what any organization's policy is or how old such a policy is.  A rip-off is a rip-off.  Return monies owed or face the fall-out on-line and off-line.  Nothing is a secret in the cyber era.

It is no wonder turnouver at napps is high and morale so low.  Members realize that they have other better options for process server associations with other more reputable organizations.

First to Review

I would rate this company zero stars if that were an option. The woman I spoke to was very rude and seemed unknowledgeable about international process serving. After sending her our documents she informed us that the price had risen significantly. When I asked for a receipt, she said she didn't know how to do that or why I would need confirmation of payment. I found a different process server that charges much less and seemed to know what he was talking about. When I told her I wished to cancel she agreed, then had the owner write me a nasty e-mail stating that I was a liar and that I should be glad he was not charging me for correspondence and having to deal with me. I will definitely not be using their services again. I am appalled at their level of unprofessionalism.

I am the Administrator of NAPPS.

It should be noted that the poster submitted this post again, days later, stating they are from another city and state.

Anyone actually interested in NAPPS should feel free to call or email my office using the email and phone numbers provided by the poster.

As I explained in my response to the subsequent post, I do not make up rules on funds being returned to members that cancel their membership.  My office follows a strict Policy that was created 32 years ago when the Association was formed.

To throw all of the outrageous accusations and name calling at me for simply following Association Policy is nothing short of libelous behavior and indicative of the poster's personal agenda.
