National Association Of Professional Women-NAPW-Matt Proman not getting paid overtime,matt proman is a p***k, NAPW IS A SCAM Garden City New York

When i got the call from NAPW i was excited to hear that there was a company that is all about women. I came in for an interview and was hired on the spot. They said they were behind on data entry and that i would start to enter them in untill they were caught up. So i agreed and started doing data entry. So 3 weeks passed and im still doing data entry. I was asked to come in on a saturday and enter in the cards. i came in for about 5 hours. it took them 3 WEEKS to pay me my overtime. Matt Proman is the owner of this company.

After working there i decided to google my boss's name. To my surprise alot of bad stuff came up about him. There was a temp answering the phones and being the receptionist. So when she would leave for her break i would be up there. One Friday i was asked to work late on the following monday and tuesday and i would be getting paid time and a half for it. So that week comes and i worked a total of 16 hours overtime and didnt get paid for 1 hour. I was told that since im on salary pay i wouldnt be getting paid. But i was told i was.

So Matt Proman decided to pick me to run his stupid errands. I went to make keys for the bathroom and he gave me 50$. When i paid for the keys i put in $4.00 because he didnt give me enough. So he still owes me $4.00. I also drove to farmingdale and other places with long distances and wasnt reimbursed for my gas. I quit yesterday.

While i was there yesterday morning, Matt asked me to go pick up his keys he left at a restaurant he was at the night before. But he didnt ask me, he demanded that i go. "GO NOW, LEAVE NOW" that was his exact words. So i told the HR Manager, (which is his best friend) that i didnt have gas in my car to go. I didnt want to go because i Knew i wasnt getting paid for gas. So she told him that she would go and he said no ill just go. He gets back to the office like 20 mins later and i said im sorry i didnt have gas, He says exact words "DONT BE SORRY, YOU KNOW YOU REALLY SCREWED ME OVER." I just shook my head and laughed.

NAPW is a scam. Matt Proman hires all his friends and they are all shady. Just beware and do some research before you accept the membership.

This post is completely factual. While I am not sure of the exact details (gas money/reimbursement) I do know Matt Proman is demanding and threatening of his employees when they do not JUMP to run his personal errands. I have seen too many times, the admin girls stressing over who is to run his random errands.
