My company purchased data from Stratum Data and they violated our agreement by going around me in an attempt to steal my customers. We lost over $350,000 because of this and won a lawsuit for over $250,000 plus interest, but they are using different company names, formed in different states in an attempt to avoid collection. They have always used aliases and work exclusively from a PO Box. They were also paid for data that was not delivered. Documented verification is available upon request.

They stonewalled the Florida court system and the residing judge by never providing documentation and exhibits requested by the court. They never provided one piece of evidence in their defense. They blew through several attorneys and in every instance the attorney withdrew from the case.

Their URL is stratumdata.com, but have no website. Anthony Honore also goes by Vincent Snun and other aliases. Trent Cannon (real name Nile Goldston) also goes by Ron Leevell, Ron Leavell and other aliases. Anthony's girlfriend is Vitheavy Yung and she also goes by Terry Yung, Tiffany Banks and Terri Fonda. Documented verification is available upon request.

Before my company, they also did the same thing to a California company, and they got caught stealing data from (a third) Colorado company and reselling it . These companies and contact names will be provided upon request for verification. The owner of the California company had to go with Anthony Honore to the bank to get checks cashed because he did not have a drivers license for the name he was using.

Anthony Honore and Vitheavy Yung work mainly out of California and Trent Cannon resides in the Houston, TX area and is associated with the Houston Skyline Rotary and a company that goes by the name, CRSredo.com

During Q1 of 2007, just before the relationship went south, Anthony Honore told me he rigged data files by padding them with old data. He told me point blank "how do you think I landed the Experian account?" This is an unethical practice to increase net records to companies they sell to and it increases profits. This is another way Anthony, Trent and Stratum ripoff customers.

It gets worse. Shortly after I started writing them checks my company bank account was defrauded for $29,000. Coincidence; maybe? After that, Anthony Honore and Trent Cannon put up a website under the URL nbdprotect.com (National Business Data Protect). The site claimed to protect consumers personal information and to be a member you had to pay and submit online all of your bank names, account names and numbers and routing numbers, as well as personal information such as SSN, and all of the names on your credit cards, with the credit card number, expiration date and the 3 digit security code on the back of the card. The domain was only registered for 1 year and is now inactive.

A list of companies they currently do business with is available upon request, along with photos of these unscrupulous characters. Other company names they use are also available.

There is so much more, but we'll save that for future postings.

If you do business with these folks, I strongly urge you to come forward because you will be served a writ of garnishment and if you fail to comply, your company will be held in contempt of court, and then we can take your money, instead of just the money you are paying them.

Done business with Stratum data (formerly)

AUTHOR: impactcolor - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, June 17, 2014

I have personaly done business with Anthony Honroe and Trent Cannon for over a decade.  I was co-owner of a printing company in Los Angeles California.  I have known both gentlemen for over 10 years and have known them by both names of Anthony Honroe and Trent Cannon.  I did business with them involving several thousands of dollars of the span of those 10 years.  They both presented themselves with the utmost of professionalism.  On several occassions, as anyone who is in business would expect, we had different conflicts arise.  If they choose to they could have "stole" from us.  However like I stated above they were professional, courteous and represented their company well.

From a striclty professional point and from knowing the legal system, if that type of fraud would have been done Anthony and Trent would both have gone to jail for fraud.  Fraud is still a criminal charge and is subject to the law... But if you did buy 250,000 worth of bunk data and never took the time to analyze the data in advance then maybe you should write a rip off report about yourself.

Even More Deception

AUTHOR: RippedBigTime - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, December 01, 2011

Mr. Cannon lists references, which I guess appears to be honorable. However, he failed to mention those references were not employed at the companies he listed; at least not at the time he posted their names into the public domain. It's interesting Mr. Cannon (aka Nile Goldston, Ron Leevell, Ron Leavell) would not supply current references - (real references) - from existing clients utilizing their world class product and service. Certainly people currently working at those companies would be more credible.

The name Leavell is spelled Leevell (as well) to impede a skip-trace.

Nile also states that Ron Leavell (AKA Ron Leevell, Trent Canon) is director of a furniture store and help launch NBD Protect. Yet, why would he fail to mention that the name Ron Leavell was posted on Stratum Data'a website as VP? Afterall, we have screenshots from 2007. Certainly he would not have forgotten Ron Leavell was VP of Stratum too.

Nowhere in the US is Stratum Data listed as a legitimate business before 2005. Yet Mr. Cannon claims they started Stratum Data in 2002.

Nile Goldston (aka Trent Cannon, Ron Leavell, Ron Leevell) states his mothers maiden name is Goldston, and that his name isn't. Yet simple internet searches reveal that he uses the name Goldston.  That just tells us that he'll go as far as to use his mothers maiden name to hide.

Nile states that Vincent Snun is Vitheavy Yung Honore's brother and that he was instrumental in creating Stratum Data. The name Vincent Snun (aka Anthony Honore) was also listed on Stratum's website as VP - the exact same VP position Ron Leavell held. And his name was listed as VP at the exact same time Terry Yung's younger brother was in prison, based on what was stated by a previous Stratum partner that was also ripped off by them. This exact same partner of Stratum's was forthcoming and explained, how when Anthony, Trent and Vitheavy worked with them, they told the partner they would be using aliases. The exact same aliases listed in this chain of posts.

Nile states that Terri Fonda is a mother of two. Maybe that's accurate, but why did he not mention she worked for Stratum Data? After all, we have emails from her using the same job title as Terri Yung at the exact same time Terri Yung held that exact same position. And the same job title as Tiffany Banks when they all 3 (Terri, Nile and Vincent) worked at the aforementioned partners company.

There is absolutely nothing in the image Nile Goldston posted, or the link he provided, that demonstrates, or proves his claim.

Like it was posted earlier, Nile Goldston (aka Trent Cannon, Ron Leavell, Ron Leevell) always does the dirty work for Stratum's owner, Anthony Honore (aka Vincent Snun). It is unexplainable why the owner will not make attempts to defend himself and his company.

What next; bogus posts from Ron Leavell, Vincent Snun and Terri Fonda?

Someone is Completely Delusional

AUTHOR: Trent Cannon - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, July 08, 2011

I don't know if this is a joke but, someone is obviously completely delusional and is likely not all connected with Sponsorship Mail. (At least I hope not)

Ron Leavell is a real person http://www.facebook.com/people/Ronald-Leavell/100000217073648

The photo is from 2010 of he and I at a Texans game.  Ron was one of the architects behind NBDprotect.com - he is a former MIS major at Texas Tech and an excellent programmer.  Whatever smart says we had the same address and phone is right!?  We were roomates after college for a couple years... way to think ahead.

Vincent Snun is Terry Yung's younger brother.  He was instrumental in the creation Stratum.  A photo of the Stratum family during our ski trip is attached as well.  He is on the far left.

Joel Marks is a real live person too...

As for me... well I have nothing to hide.  The photo attached is of myself and Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott at a recent function.

Below are recommendations from major firms we worked with that this individual claims received bad data for 8 years and didn't know it.  More can be found on my LinkedIN - Trent Cannon Compnay: CRSredo   (and to the author- we are quite proud of our small little company, by the way HOW MANY PEOPLE WORK FOR SPONSORSHIPMAIL?/  SALES VOLUME? CLIENTS?)

In the position of Data Provider to Experian, I always found Trent to be extremely receptive and responsive to our requests. He thoroughly understood our requirements, and always made every attempt to ensure that we were always pleased with the results of what his company had to offer."

Mary Stewart, Director of Data Quality, Experian

Trent is organized, efficient, extremely competent, and has an excellent rapport with people from all different backgrounds. His communication skills, both written and verbal, are excellent. He has a strong ability to deconstruct issues and formulate and execute action plans to improve business results. His integrity and dependability were his strongest suite. I was always able to count on Trent to produce above and beyond the call of duty. He is the type of personality that I am proud to be associated with.

Jack Halon, Sr. Analyst, Experian

In closing only a complete buffoon would seriously tell the largest information providers in the world that "they have no idea what they are doing".  Its laughable and embarrassing to read.  I hope the author will come out of the closet and reveal their identity..... or maybe they are just someone else I made up with my perfervid imagination and I'm simply talking back and forth to another one of my many aliases. LOL

By the way- thanks to everyone who called and wrote us emails on this.  One day people will be required to stand behind the garbage they write.  Cheers!

More Deception

AUTHOR: RippedBigTime - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 22, 2011

The only thing Mr. Cannons response demonstrates is that these unscrupulous characters continue to deceive. And for the record, Mr. Cannon (was one of three total employees and) has always done Anthonys dirty work.

The amount is now close to $300,000 since interest is compounded monthly. And the judgment at some point will be attached to Stratums principal, personally.

NBD d/b/a Stratum Data did dissolve their company in 2009, but only to try and avoid the court system because the judge had ordered forensic testing of all of their computers. However, they continued to illegally operate and do business and to use bank accounts with those company names for another year after the company was dissolved right up until the week the judgment was awarded.

Mr. Cannons statement about starting business in 2002 and being in business 10 years is simply a lie to try and create false credibility. State, county and local government records verify that National Business Data was formed in 2005, and d/b/a Stratum Data was formed in 2006. In fact, all 3 of these characters were employees at another company they ripped off during the time Mr. Cannon claims they were in business, and werent. So, they were in business (legally) for 4 years at best.

Mr. Cannons claim about not using the aliases we provided is false. He simply believes you will never really know the truth for sure, and he can not be proved wrong. Well, for those of you that have requested verification, you know the absolute truth and you know Mr. Cannon is lying. And its funny that Trent Cannon, Ron Leevell, Ron Leavell, Nile Goldston all had the same address, home number and cell phone number. I guess you guys all just happen to live together in a small apartment and use the same phones.

The reason the case ended in a default judgment was because these folks did not respond to any court order the entire 3 year process, nor did they provide any documentation (they claimed to have in their defense) to their attorneys. Not even once.

Mr. Cannons statement about multiple lawyers and skyrocketing legal fees is artfully worded to create deception. They had one lawyer in Florida and that attorney withdrew from the case. After that they got an attorney in Texas, and then he withdrew from the case. Neither attorney lasted over a few months. It is believed those attorneys were embarrassed because they were never provided one shred of evidence for defense because there wasnt any. I suspect Stratum was just trying to glean legal information for free. So to imply they could no longer afford representation because their legal fees skyrocketed is absurd.

Anyone reading this, particularly in the data business, knows that companies do not perform background checks on data suppliers or their employees, not even Fortune 500 companies. In fact our company did business with more Fortune 500 companies than they ever did, and they never once performed a background check.

And Fortune 500 companies did not sue NBD d/b/a Stratum Data because they didnt give a flip. They dont sue tiny, micro companies like Stratum; they end the relationship which is what happened. However, there were at least 2 other companies that could have sued Stratum for stealing their customers and/or data.

Our company was also responsible for more than half of NDB d/b/a Stratum Datas total annual revenue. So when Mr. Cannon uses lingo to try and make their company sound big, it is all just part of the shtick and fluff they have always laid on companies, like when they told us they had 45 employees and in actuality there were three.

Again, Mr. Cannon tries to impress you with his artfully worded pitch, like he always has. The customers care about unique records and cost. And they lost their customers because they kept trying to sell them duplicate records, or rip them off. The economy had nothing to do with it. He just said that because it is believable.

Stratum sold sensitive data, per Mr. Cannons claim. The data they sold was public record and can be retrieved free from thousands of websites and for pay from hundreds of vendors most are run-of-the-mill.

Quote from previous Stratum customer: certainly we did hear on several fronts regarding Stratums reputation after we had been dealing with themwe cut ties.

Anyone can join the Rotary and many know WHY Mr. Cannon did, and it had nothing to do with humanitarian efforts. The Lombardi Committee is people at the Rotary that vote on a football player. And when you have to mention a mom and pop construction and remodeling company, CRSredo, when you are trying to build yourself up; that should tell you something.

You are thankful to the companies that help you build Stratum? Those would be the numerous companies that Trent, Anthony and Vitheavy ripped off.

Finally Mr. Cannon states: My best in all your endeavors including the good people who lost income...

Well, if you really feel that way just give back the hundreds of thousands of dollars our company lost when you (Trent Cannon), and Anthony Honore, and Stratum Data, and National Business Data, and Vitheavy Yung violated our agreement and tried to steal our clients and our money.

Mixture of Truth and Fiction

AUTHOR: Trent Cannon - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, June 20, 2011

Truth
Sponsorship Mail was awarded a judgement in Florida against Stratum Data for $250,000 sometime in 2010.  However, Stratum was no longer a viable entity by the end of 2009 and did not possess to financial means to defend itself in the court of law.  Thus, regardless of the merits of the case Sponsorship Mail was awarded the judgement by default.  Stratum was represented by one firm in Florida and another in Texas hence, skyrocketing legal fees.

Fiction
Trent Cannon's legal name is Trent Nile Cannon (Goldston is his mother's maiden name).  Ron Leavell is alive and well as a director for one of largest furniture stores in the U.S.  Anthony Honore and Vince Snun are two very different people.  Vitheavy (Terry) Yung is Mr. Honore's wife and Terri Fonda is a very nice mother of two in southern California.

Obviously, in order to work with the sensitive data we maintained our entire organization was background checked and heavily scrutinized yearly.  Not just anyone supplies a Fortune 500 firm 17 million sensitive data files over a decade.

Personal Note:
I won't address all of the allegations made in this complaint other than to simply state if in fact they were true, documented, and verified Stratum Data would've been sued for negligence by the Fortune 500 clients it maintained for several million dollars in damages.  To date no such action has or ever will take place and I continue to call several members of these fine organizations friends and colleagues.

I also in fact serve/d on the boards of several business and humanitarian organizations such Rotary Club of Houston, The Lombardi Awards Committee for Cancer Research, The Chamber of Commerce, CRSredo.com, and continue to volunteer my time in hopes of bettering our community both here & abroad.  I want to thank all of those who helped us build Stratum and feel very sorry for recession that killed our company leaving many of us with no severance package.

My best in all your endeavors including the good people who lost income at Sponsorship Mail.

Trent Cannon
