National Business Information Exchange Refuses to remove my company from mailing list and keeps sending useless CD's victimized many consumers Chesapeake Beach Maryland

Stay away from this company! If they call you, DO NOT say the word "yes!" They will cut and paste that recorded response as an approval to send you a worthless $400 CD!
They sent me a CD in June, stating that the previous person in my position had authorized it. They actually played the recording and indeed the person said "yes." We negotiated the price down to $299 and they said that if we paid it, then they would remove us from their mailing list, so we paid the bill.
They called again in December to send another CD. They again tried to say that the previous person had authorized it. I informed them that I am in charge and had paid the previous bill and we were not supposed to get anymore CD's. Then they tried to tell me it is a two-CD committment and sent me the CD and bill against my will.

They AGAIN called me a month later in January stating that they were sending me another CD and tried again to say that the previous person authorized it. Then they told me that it is a 2-year committment! I informed him that I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and that we were not going to pay it. He then said "d**n," and hung up on me!

I actually installed one of the CD's on my computer that we paid $299 for and OUR COMPANY IS NOT EVEN LISTED! Worse yet, it is useless CD with worthless information! It has thousands of companies listed but you cannot even do a name search. You must scroll through all of them. To top things off, you have to CALL the company for a CD Key number because the CD will expire after a set amount of time. I paid for the CD and I cannot even use it!
