NATIONAL CAR CREDIT COLUMBUS, GA REPOSSESSION COLUMBUS Georgia

I was financed with NCCI in July 08 which was almost a year ago. We fell behind late one month for the pymt, they began calling all of our references discussing our acct when they could not reach us I guess in hopes that the embarrassment would make us return their call faster. They would call our home everyday looking for a pymt and when I talked to a Representative by the name of Joann she told me that their company would repossess a car if you are a day late on pymts so she changed our pymt due date ok. I explained to them we would be late due to an ongoing urgent legal matter i've been in for the past 2 yrs and recently my husband made his pymt to them and they still sent someone to repossess the car saying it was 2 mos behind, ok if he just made the pymt which they still cashed his check knowing they planned to repossess it, they were unwilling to work out an arrangement. When the repo guys showed up to our home he explained to them he needed to talk to me because I am currently deployed in Iraq and my name is on the loan as well, the repo team held off for a day,but then they told him even if he did pay the past due amount of $736 they were still going to repo the car casue its in repo status? What the f***! I know every loan company may have requirements/standards but WOW! what a way to support the troops.I mean I don't expect to have the red carpet cause im a deployed soldier but it really makes me angry that i'm in Iraq in over 100 degree weather doing my mission when you have companies in the rear that is not willing to work out a simple pymt arrangement when certain unseen issues arise but my life is on the line each day-i'm more in harm's way each day. If there is an attorney out there that can help me not get screwed by this company, please reach out to me and help me. My credit is on the line and I want to make sure i'm not railroaded too bad in the end. The balance on the loan is under $5000 so I don't know how repossessions work after they retrieve the car and put it on your credit. Thanks
