National City Auto Center Charged me extra $5000 on top of negotiated price. I end up paying over $15,000 for a 2012 Mazda 3. A brand new Mazda 3 2018 would cost $16,000. National City CA California

*WARNING* Do Not buy a car from National City Auto Center!!! I did all the research online to pick up a used Mazda 3, including the price, mileage, Kelly blue book and vehicle history, carguru sent me to this shabby parking lot for this specific car. It was my day off, so I decided to take a look at the car.

The business office was an old dirty trailer with a bad paint job. I took a test drive in the day around the block, should have done it at night, I might have noticed that the car had 0 back tail lights working. It didn't have a navigation system, even though the ad said it did. I sat there for 4 hours negotiating the price from $10,500 to 10,200 out the door including all fees and tax. Well the salesman shoved me to a different con artist the last 8 min. of the sale. I asked him to explain every detail of the contract because I didn't bring my reading glasses, which wouldn't have mattered because the print was very small on double sided extra long paper, approx. 8 sheets, that in legal terms would have taken 3-4 hours to Google, and reference all the legal terms, basically he read pieces of it and told me everything was included in the price I negotiated.

Well about 4-5 days later when I got my 1st bill, I found out Nothing -0- was included, they charged me an extra $5000+ on top of the regular No discount at all price. Almost $16,000 for a 2012 Mazda 3. For $1,500 more I could have bought a brand n New Mazda 3 with more features through AAA. I didn't even get my Military discount, the guy promised on the phone. When I went back there to complain and get all the added $5000 features I Never asked for removed. They said all I had to do was write a letter stating to remove it. I walked in those 2 letters on July 4th. They said it would take 2 weeks to a month to get it removed off my loan. I bought the car the last week of June. It's now August 16 and my bill is the same!!!

Please go anywhere else to get a car. These people are Not honest. They run your credit hard through 3 credit companies which actually knocks your credit rating down quite a bit. They'll lie to your face, rush the contract and lie about what their charging you and also the description of the car won't be as good as the ad for it. There were also more miles on the car then stated and it wasn't the Grand Touring trim, it was basic. Every time you make a purchase to a dishonest company, your making a vote that the company has integrity and your voting to keep that place in business, to further scam people out of their hard earned $. Please don't let this company scam others out of thousands of dollars.

Your Excuses Don't Excuse COMMON SENSE!

AUTHOR: The Dog - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 04, 2018

ALL the details of the deal would have been included IN THE CONTRACT! If YOU used COMMON SENSE, you would have READ what you were agreeing to BEFORE agreeing to it! Your glasses, fine print and all the other excuses don't make that FACT go away. I'll never, ever understand what is wrong with you people...signing a legally binding agreement without seeing what you are agreeing to! Blaming them isn't the cause of the problem. Your incredible lack of basic COMMON SENSE is!!!
