I responded to a craigslist ad for a business opportunity to make 15k+ a month funding small businesses with cash advance loans. I responded to the ad and after several misses finally got to have a phone interview with the CEO Jim Hiller. He stated he had been in business 7 years and explained to me the process to get started as an affiliate agent. He explained that his company would be assuming a risk out laying $5186 dollars to buy a list of 10 thousand business from salesgenie.com, work through the list to find the companies doing the most credit card transactions setup the 5000 direct mailers and business cards, brochures with my number on them. As a result the company would be needing a 1488 dollar deposit that would be 100% refunded upon my first cash advance to show I was serious. I would also receive 5% commission on my first 5 sales then upon the 6th sale I would go to 8% commission and get a retroactive 3% bonus on the first 5 fundings. Pretty sweet right? I asked him if he they had a website and he said of course when I asked him what it was he didn't know. I told him to email the link later. Really? you have a company for 7 years and do not know your own website? I smelled a rat.

He specifically said he would be helping me make the first sale on a 3 way conference call as part of the third phase of my training. How ever when he sent the agent application to me and read through the paperwork fully it says this.

"Upon acquiring your first cash advance client you will receive a one on one phone

consultation with our national director to help you set up your 1st cash advance. Upon approval of your first cash advance and funding of this advance (usually 5 to 7 days) you will receive 5% of the funded amount until your 5th cash advances is funded and then your commission increases to 8% including the retroactive commission amounts from your previous 5 cash advances. There will be no charge backs or recourse in the event of merchant default. Thats correct if the cash advance client that you got funded defaults for any reason whatsoever it has no bearing on you. You did your job, collected your commission and you keep your commission. National Financial Funding currently works with a loss ratio of less than 5% which we can easily absorb as part of our overall business plan. In addition you will also receive a full return of your deposit, which will be explained shortly.

Once you have funded your first cash advance transaction you have proven yourself to be a very self motivated individual with the highly valuable qualities National Financial Funding is looking for. In addition to all of the above you will now receive the following:

1. A monthly mail out of 5000 business postcards to businesses that accept credit cards in your state with your name, phone number and how much their check is for. Due to years of experience and our highly successful demographic department our regular mail out program produces a 2% response rate which will now provide you with 100 leads per month. This mail out will be repeated every month. Thats correct.. You will receive a minimum of 100 exclusive leads each and every month for you to

contact for cash advance transactions."

According to this you do not get the direct mailers that you put the deposit on until you have made your first sale.  So where does that sale come from? I called the CEO Jim Hiller back and asked him if I was responsible for finding the first sale he said definitely not. I believed him and was ready to move forward. but before I was going to send him my money I did some research.

I checked the website it was very generic and only had an email address under contact page, that address was a yahoo address I had not used in my contact with the company. Another red flag.

I found out his business address is actually a prepackaged "virtual office site" which means he pays $175 for a fake office to get mail and take calls but no one actually works there. http://www.davincivirtual.com/loc/us/michigan/novi-virtual-offices/facility-968

More perturbed now.

I googled national financial funding scam and didn't come up anything and then I googled jim hiller scam still nothing. Then I googled we say yes banks say no scam and boom several reports here on rip off report website.

Apparently this guys trick to take your money and then expects you find the first sale through cold calls turns out you never hear from them again. He also has been conning people under several other names Sandy Coleman, Paul Mandel, Larry King,  and has another website that is also a mirror image of the other but with a different website name, ceo name and contact info.

look at them  www.wesayyesbankssayno.com  and www.thefinancialassociates.com

His direct personal number is (888) 816-3309.
