I was contacted by a Jennifer Grannan on 9/22/06 of NHCD. I believe she saw my resume on one of the websites I subcribe to. I did an online training session and started working. I received my checks every Monday. Unfortunately, they never refunded me the startup fee of $49 that I was told that was refundable after 60 days. On March 16, 2007, two checks that NHCD issued me were returned Not Sufficient Funds. I emailed the career development manager and resigned. The checks are for small amounts $35 and $73 dated 2/26/07 and 3/5/07 respectively.

I waited several months for the checks to be reissued because I know their bank US Bank notified NHCD that the checks were returned. I then wrote to them and asked that the checks be reissued. There was no response.

I also had to stop payment on the $18.95 that was being automatically taken out of my account. They continued to deduct the telephone fee eventhough I had resigned. I had to ask Chase Bank for assistance to stop the withdrawal.

I didn't buy the discount health plan because I did not need it. I originally thought it provided a discount to those who could not get health insurance. After the return check incident and looked at this company differently and did not want to be associated with it.

My manager was Jo-Ann McCoy. Her email is jmccoynhcd@cox.net. As far as I know all the employees are independent contractors.

JoAnn McCoy is above reproach!

AUTHOR: Richard - (U.S.A.)

I work or am trying to work for ASP. It is a good company and with 4.5 million customers and 450,000 health care providers, we can't be all that bad.

I have experienced problems with Jerry. He is involved in payroll, and is a coach over a HR team, of which I am one which Jerry will not put to work. I live in a nursing home and have been given very few months to live. I want to afford small gifts for my 17 grandchildren so they can remember me when they can hold something tangible and think that their Paw Paw got that for me. I love them so very much.

Payroll is another thing that has been overhauled and will and is running more smoothly. We are not paid by direct deposit every Monday. It's working very well, and no more five weeks lagging. My daughter uses the health care card and has no problem at all in having the card honored, and without question!

As for JoAnn McCoy, she has got to be one of the finest people I have come across in my 40+ working career. She runs into the same problems, when a company is run primarily from home, it makes it difficult to find people and numbers to call. As for JoAnn, always ask for her. You can trust her completely.

As for Jerry, I cannot understand how he keeps a job when he is not doing his job!! He needs to have someone else take payroll, or something off him. Whoever thought he was competent to do all the jobs he has was sadly mistaken. I have very limited time, and I can only assume that it matters not to Jerry,

ASP and JoAnn McCoy are winners in my book, and I have worked for them almost a year nowl JoAnn is at joannasp@cox.net.
