The old saying "If its too good to be true, Well it probably IS A "RIP-OFF"! Case in point, this is per batiem. This letter that was sent to me with a $24.00 dollar check that was monies I already sent them for two years of regular membership, which was going to be put together with another payment from me of $28.75 to allow me life time membership as a "PREMIER LIFE MEMBER". The Page -6- begins as thus;

 "Life Membership is exclusive, limited, and by invitation only." The next paragraph explains why this is such a covenant proposition, but in reality it is mearly propaganda stating you will have the Title of Life Member. Includes ego building status as one whom has THE LOGO, Premier Life Member which entitles this person to carry and display at home and on their garden tools. The other perks you receive are free life member gardening mat, life member magnet free seeds and life member key chain.

Also included will be Premier Life Member Logo Stationary seals that can be affixed to personal or business stationary which is a very cheap form of advertisement for others to enquire about this organization.

 "PERHAPS THE BEST OF ALL,(my name here), YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TO PAY DUES AGAIN!" This was typed after the two paragraphs explaining all my perks. The next paragraph goes on to inform me how other members seeking life time Premier memberships will have to pay $30.75 each month for this elite status. "However, after we subtract the amount you have paid in dues to the Club so far, your monthly interest-free payment for 12 months comes to $28.75. (which I sent to them in check form) "After that, (my final payment for $28.75) your done. Forever. You never have to pay dues again!"

This next paragraph really pulls at your sensibility or lack of in my case. "Now you know why gardeners who have been selected for this extraordinary distinction jump at the chance to accept Premier Life Membership."

In ending this correspondance the Executive Director writes: "the enclosed Dues Rebate Certificate is all we need to activate your Premier Life Membership and credit your account so you are reimbursed the $24.00 in dues that you have paid us. Won't you return it today, (my name here) ?"

"Cordially, Amy Sitze Executive Director."

I must admit that on the very bottom of the letter at the foot of page -6- reads in very small print "Club benefits are subject to change or substitution from time to time."

Everything I wrote here is true and accurate and all in Quote words are directly taken from the handwriting of Amy Sitze or her employee in this letter. So help me God!
