I advise you to please be wary of National Loan Restructuring, which now seems to be known as Atlas Financial. They made numerous fancy promises, and never got close to fulfilling a single one.

They had a really good sales pitch, that hyped a money back guarantee. Forget it. They will always find an excuse not to refund your money.

"I just secured you a 2% loan. Start making new payments immediately." Forget it. The bank had no record. Of course NLR continued to say that the bank had poor communications and record keeping.

We are assured of getting you a principle balance reduction. Wait - you already paid $3500? Oh, well, the principle balance never changes. There must be a mix up somewhere - sorry.

Forensic audit? Yeah, we found an error of 0.0015%. We can work with that!

Let me name names: Charlie Stevens, George Acosta, Carter Lewis, John Springer. They will be happy to tell you anything that sounds good at the moment.

FALSE PROMISES FROM NATIONAL LOAN RESTRUCTURING

AUTHOR: Randall - Detroit - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, March 03, 2011

I now see that Charlie Stevens, General Manager NLR (Atlas Financial?), is filing rebuttals to explain away the charges against the company. His explanations sound very good; like an articulate politician.

I will not comment on other peoples' experiences, because I do not have first hand knowledge. Speaking about my own experience with them, I am totally disgusted and angry. To be fair, this is not a "fly by night" organization.  Actually, they must have spent a fair amount of time and effort on my account.  The problem is that everything they told me was either an outright lie, or completely incompetent.

Thank goodness I was smart enough to stop listening to them, and take control of the modification process by myself. It was a slow, hard process, but once I was able to get NLR out of the mix, I was able to get approved for an excellent package.

Of course Charlie Stevens himself warned me about the dire consequences of not fully cooperating with NLR. But by that time, I had had enough! I was prepared to take my chances.

Perhaps NLR has some satisfied customers, I really don't know or care. The problem is that their sales tactics are borderline fraudulant. I highly recommend that the consumer stay away from them. There is nothing they can do, that you, yourself cannot do better.
