National Moving Network ripoff, rude, condescending, thieves, liars San Jose California
*Consumer Suggestion: You must have dealt with AY Transport or Progressive Van Lines
I was moving fron San Diego, CA to Maine in June 2004 and this company was to arrive in 10 days with my belongings and car. I only received part of my bedroom set and a few clothes. I literally had to start from scratch. They were 2 weeks late and lost almost EVERYTHING! They also expected me to pay a fee when they arrived. I have been calling and trying so hard to file a complaint and they've NEVER called back and won't allow me to file a complaint so i'm hiring a lawyer.
Theresa was the most ignorant degrading human being (thats what she calls herself) I have ever spoken with. Please, if you value your things do NOT use this FRAUDULENT company.

#1 Consumer Suggestion
You must have dealt with AY Transport or Progressive Van Lines

National Moving Network is just a broker. But 90% of the time, they hire either AY Transport or Progressive Van Lines, two companies that are actually one company. Theresa is the Queen Bee of Customer Service there, and her lovely personality has been well documented here, including comments from Theresa directly.
If your move was in June of 2004, then you're past the 90 day window for filing an insurance claim. But you should call 1-888-DOT-SAFT and file an official complaint. Then, once you are sure which company moved you, go to either the BBB of Southeast Florida (Progressive) or the BBB of Silicon Valley (AY Transport). Then contact the Attorney General of the state, and if it was AY, call the California Public Utilities Commission. They're tough on CA movers.
