National One Telecom/USBI Ripoff Fraudulent Billing Dallas Texas

We received a bill from the above mentioned company for $40.00 for Long Distance Call made to the United Kingdom which was never made. The invoice also mentioned there would be an additional charge billed by USBI of $1.99 per minute billed to my local phone company.

The only way to contact the company to dispute this billing was through there customer service portal WWW.NATIONALONE.COM which we did. There response was that we accessed a web site "Live Web Cam" on 5/12/04 at 10:07 am which was impossible because both of us were at work and we are the only ones residing in our home. The company further explained that if we did not pay the bill they would ruin our credit. Sounds like another internet scam.

Additionally, further searches using GOOGLE produced numerous other complaints about these two companies as well as some contact information

The toll free number only had voice mail requesting a message be left. The voice mail had no identifying company information (i.e. Company Name).
