National Protection Association Lumitact com G700 This is a deceptive and unethical company. Saint Charles Missouri

On January 22, 2016 I ordered a G700 Flashlight for $56 from the National Protection Association website for the G700 flashlight.  However the charge on my bank statement was from the Lumitact com G700 for $56.00. This discrepancy started my suspicion level to elevate to DEFCON 2.

I suppose they would have gotten away with the scam had their website been working properly. I tried to also order the battery pack for $33.00 and free shipping but, the site was having problems and would not let me order it. My problems started the very next day.

I called the phone number for the site, 636-922-9310, to ask them to add the battery pack. The CSR seemed pleasant enough and told me he could not help me but, sales could. Said he was transferring me to sales. After 15 minutes of listening to music, I hung up. Called back and told someone I was on hold for 15 minutes while waiting to be transferred to sales. The person apologized and said they would transfer me but, would stay on the line with me until someone picked up.  Well after several minutes of more music and no transfer, I asked if someone was on the line with me, and turns out there was no one helping me anymore. I now had that sick feeling in my stomach, my suspicion level is now at DEFCON 3   I no longer wanted the batter pack but, wanted to cancel my order. I was also on their web site and used the “chat” box to complain but, it wasn’t a real “chat” service but, rather email. I wrote a short summary and again have not received a reply – not surprising.  I called back and instead of customer service I selected sales. Again on hold, I was asked if I wanted a call back from sales (auto message) and if I did enter “1”. I was told I would be called back – another lie.- never have heard back from anyone, DEFCON 4 now.

I never got a call back so I again called them today 1/23/16 and now when I was connected to customer service I could not understand them clearly as the phone (on their end) made their voice very garbled. The auto message before being connected to a person was clear as a bell.  I hung up and recalled with the same results. The guy told me to hang up and call back in 5 minutes but, I refused because I told him I already did that and it didn’t help. So then this guy say’s that sales is only open M-F 8AM-5PM. So in essence when I was being “transferred to sales” the night before, they were already closed and since they had not used that stall tactic on me yet, they did in fact stall me once again. As my frustration grew I knew I had been duped. That in itself is a shame because I’ve been watching this flashlight advertised all over the internet for the last 2-3 months and figured it was legitimate. Bottom line – stay away from the G700 website. Still at DEFCON 4, until I get the flashlight or my money back. .If you really want a G700 try Amazon or EBay.
