National Publishers, Inc Exclusive Media Services,Inc. Lied about price: Said 1 payment of 70.41 from card, and Billed 70.41 totallying 140.81. Charged my card 3 times with 70.41 and were intending to take that amount each month for 12 months. Oxford, Mississippi

I was contacted by phone and informed I was among 25 winners in a contest and all I had to do was purchase magazines that would cost 140.81, that I would be charged the first 70.41 on my credit card and the remaining 70.41 I would be billed and pay myself.

The 140.81 was alot to me as I am n social security and receive only 388 a month of my own.  I would never pay a monthly 70.41 for magazines any time in my life, certainly not now. I was never told there were additional payments, never told it was for 12 months or there was no way I would ever have agreed to that.

They have now taken 3 payments from my account and I seem to have no way to stop them.  I called them and they agreed to cancel my contract and send me a cancellation notice to sign.

I would love to put the notice here. It says paid in full... they have 211.33 of my money and I have not seen a magazine, nor do I want to. I want my money returned and they are still planning to take another 70.41 as well as 20.00 for each magazine... that is how they put it and I have no idea how many magazines.

They tell me if I write anything on this agreement they will not accept it. Only sign my name. 

If I sign this it is my signature and not a paper I want to sign. 

What can I do?
