National Travel Services - Ramada Plaza Resorts -- Robin Leach - All Scams

At approximatly 2:30 EST i called RPR about a 1600.00 dollar check I received in the mail.

I read the first part of the letter and called immediatly. Then I was informed that I could only call one and that I needed my travel companion.

I informed them that on the paper it said to call within 72 hours I would not be able to reach her she is in Aspen Colorado at this time.

She said it was ok and I gave her the confirmation number. It was again explained to me that I could not call back.

I then was told of the complete offer. The offer sounded high to me so I said it seemed expensive to me as I travel very inexpensivly, I was informed that I would be paying about $30.00 in taxes alone a day and that the package was $1,399.00.

I again said that this was too high and that I really needed to confer with my Finance~. I was then told to hang on and the Supervisor then came on the line {Debbie}.

She told me that she could do better and that since price was the issue that I sould have the package for $698 plus $198 for my finance~ when we traveled.

I again said that I needed to confer with my finance~ and she dropped the price again to $398 plus $198 on the day we traveled.

I said that the price was acceptable but I needed to simply confer with my Finance~(whom I told them at the onset of the conversation was in Aspen and she would not be available within the 72 hour window that letter stated.

She then told me how I was such a wise traveler and re-explained the price. I again explained that I needed to confer with my finance.

SHE HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME AND SAID I WAS STUPID.

I then connected to the internet and found out from the FTC.gov and consumeraffairs and http://badbusinessbureau.com/view.asp?id=4647 that there a lot of complaints.

So I called back explaining to the person who answered that I needed to speak with Debbie. I told her I had contacted your office, the Ftc and consumer affairs and the FTC has won a settlement in several states against them.

She interruped me and said that they were bought or that they bought "that company and it wasn't them" I slammed the phone down.

Then they called at my house swearing at me Debbie [supervisor]told me to "f--- you" and another voice in the background told me that I was a "c--- s-----."
