Our small business was contacted today with a phone call from a very convincing salesman selling advertising space for one of our local restaurants. He knew all of the five local locations here in Charleston, SC area.
The advertising space he was misrepresenting was for their take-out menu's and, of course, it was limited, the dead line was near . . for the special price of . . he fax'd the information. . we fell for it and even gave him our credit card information.
Then it hit us, this is too good to be true. We went to one of the restaurant's. Talked to the manager and low and behold, looked at one of their take-out menu's and they do not have any advertising on them!!
Then I found this site. Wish I would have researched first. Businesses' beware. We are joining the Illinois suit and have had to cancel our card.
