Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

To my great misfortune, I just had three auto accidents in the past few months. In all three they based their biased investigation on the statement of the other driver. I honestly dont thing they even listened to my statements in all three cases. No investigations were done in all three. They didnt even look at my car.

Accident #1 I was backing out of a parking space with limited visibility, and some distracted, speeding driver crashed into my car, even though it was stopped. She could clearly see my car in the aisle of the parking lot, however was too distracted stop when my car was halfway out of the space. Funny how my car was stopped and yet, Nationwide insists I hit another car. The adjustor kept referring to some VA statue which confirms the guilt of someone backing out of a parking space. When I looked up the statue, it confirmed Virginias laws regarding signs and signals, completely unrelated to the accident. Based on this bogus statute and the other drivers lies (like my car was moving when it was stopped). No one listened to a thing I said, however took her statement as the truth, so I was at fault.

Accident #2 was unbelievable. I was at home and not driving when I heard a loud crash. There was a 3 car accident and the one who caused it was having a seizure at the time. When I looked around for damages, I saw that 30 feet of my fence was destroyed. Posts were out of the ground, 15 slats were pushed into my yard, etc. I had to wait 6 weeks for good old Nationwide to give me a go ahead on repairing the fence. Instead I got a letter saying that since the other driver who caused the damage was not liable because he was having a medical emergency and that I should have my own insurance handle the repairs. Im sorry that he had a seizure, but he still caused thousands of dollars of damage. So now I have to pay $1K deducible and have my insurance rates increase. This is really fair, isnt it? Looks like Nationwide did everything they could to get out of paying the claim.

Accident #3 was another case of Nationwide not listening to a word I said, however, when they got the statement from the other driver, they decided his story was the full truth. All that happened was our two cars scraped each other on the side. And, once again I was at fault. When I asked what their investigation all they did was witness paint from each car on the sides. How does that prove who hit who? Well, according to the others driver story, I hit him (and my conflicting version wasnt even considered) Everything the adjustor said to me was the other drivers story verbatim. I could have said anything and it wouldnt matter. To them, the truth was the other drivers statement.

Then, I find out that they are paying for damages involving my front right bumper. There is a small bit of damage which happened two years ago. Nevertheless, Mr. Know it All claimed it was damage from the accident, and without even asking me about it, they just decided to believe Mr. Smarty Pants. The adjustor even said he could tell it was recently damaged and part of the accident. How dare they make some assumption without asking me about it first? Now he wants me to prove it was there prior to the accident, which strikes me as odd since they never prove ANYTHING in their investigations, but I have to prove my allegation.

But this is Nationwide, always on your side, blah blah blah. They are idiots who do not do proper investigations, only believe the other driver, make assumptions about what damage was part of an accident, dont take it into consideration if a speeding, distracted driver in a parking lot aisle with full view of my car shares any liability. With the fence incident, Im sorry the driver had a seizure, but he still hit my fence and is still responsible for it. Why should be stuck with thousands of dollars in repair when I had nothing to do with it?

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They only listen to one driver as telling the truth, since this gets them off the hook from doing a proper investigation. They manipulate the facts to their one sided story. They also seem to think its fair to screw people out of their benefits. They took 6 weeks to come up with their story as to why they wouldnt pay my fence damages.

They are unethical, lazy, biased, make false assumptions, dont listen to reason and always decide you are at fault because they believe every lie the other driver said.
