Stolen with keys in car?

AUTHOR: Bamaboyngatorcountry - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, March 23, 2009

Ok, let me start with I know a lot of Titan/Victoria insurance through Nationwide as well as other high risk insurers. With that being said, they are high risk insurers for those with problems in the past(ie. a lot of claims/poor credit/bad driving record/etc.) Now, when you have a car that is "stolen" you must understand insurance companies have to investigate these types of things because of fraud happening all of the time causing millions of dollars in losses. They look into things like did this person coincidentally just file for bankruptcy? Do they have criminal records? Anything that would tip them off that you(or anyone else) may be trying to file a false claim. I have seen where people would have their car "stolen" their insurance company pay them off they go buy a new vehicle;when in fact they had a "partner" steal the car(most of the time when the keys are "accidentally" left in the vehicle) and guess what??? NOW THEY GET TWO CARS FOR ONE, plus their deductible. So if in fact your claim was denied, there was valid cause. Just think about it, ask for your claim file and you will find out why it was denied, or you could read your denial letter that you would have received and you would know exactly why it was denied. I didn't seem to find your denial reason listed in your complaint and find that odd, there are two sides to every story right?? Also, about your second vehicle being stolen at the same time period; WHO LEAVES THEIR KEYS IN THEIR VEHICLE WHEN THEY AREN'T IN IT?????!!!! Common sense people. It's sad it has to be that way BUT you and I both know what kind of world we live in and seeing you are from Detroit(highest crime rate in country) I would think you would take your keys out of your vehicle. Think it over and it will make sense.
