I recently moved from Jacksonville, FL to Seattle, WA.

Beginning, with the movers who picked up my household goods to the movers who delivered them, every agent or employee of this company is attempting to "tack" on some additional fee or cost.  This company will charge a customer for occupying more space than was estimated on the truck during pick-up even though the customer has no access or ability to load the items/boxes in a manner that would effectuate space saving technique.  Whether you actually did or did not exceed estimated space is unknown because, as I already stated, the customer has no control when the employees are loading the boxes.

I spent nearly 5 weeks without my furniture when I arrived in Seattle.  The company gave me false assurances of delivery three times and at one point had no idea where my goods were.  They then violated 49 CFR § 375.501 when they failed to notify me that they were subletting the "carry" to another company that I did not authorize to carry my goods.  The support staff was rude at every step of the way and the salesman who sold me on the intial agreement "blocked" my emails after the agreement was signed.

When my goods finally arrived, the drivers only concern was padding his own wallet.  They refused to pull the truck up a hill because the already mangled rear end of the truck, might bottom out.  Additionallly, the driver wanted to charge me $275 for having to "long-carry" the goods and another $75 for using my elevator.  No where on my Bill of Lading did it state that these provisions were operable.  When I asked for paperwork from the drivers seeking any clause that I had assented to authorizing this, they were unable to proffer any document.  When I demanded to speak to dispatch or management he told me to, "work it out with the driver."  Upon asking him where exactly I agreed to a long -carry or elevator use charge, he was at a loss for words.  After refusing to pay, the driver said he would leave with my goods and I had to threaten to call the police.  The drivers would not unload the goods until cash payment was received and their surcharges paid.  Under protest, I paid these charlatons.

When I opened my goods and unwrapped my furnitute it was broken and damaged, respectively.  I assuage anyone that is considering to hire this company not to.

What I found out on the FMCSA site with their DOT number and MC number, they are just a broker. Which means you call them and then they find someone to haul it, the problem with that is the haulers don't usually like the price that the broker gave you. Carriers have been shut down for holding peoples property hostage for more money.

Make a complaint with the FMCSA and let them earn their money.
