NBAStore.com aka Fanatics Retail Group fraud, theft, cancelled store credit, never shipped order jacksonville Florida
This company is the most fraudulent group of swindlers I've had the displeasure of dealing with in my life. I purchase many items online from Amazon and Ebay, & have NEVER in my life encountered these issues. All of this occurred between 11/22/13 - 12/4/13.
1.) Rep screwed up order; she lost the LAST pair of Lebron shoes AFTER I had already payed for them. They offered me 50 dollars in promo credit to make up for their value (originally 160.00, on sale for 87.35). I accepted that, and placed a new order...
2.)(later that day) Replaced order with different shoes, along with a few bargain bin items to use up whatever remaining store credit I had (one rep added 20 dollars extra to go toward expedited shipping because he felt bad about the situation; another 10 dollars was added b/c an item I tried to order was unexplicably unavailable).
The site's sizing link, as well as reps I talked to, falsely claimed the shoes fit TRUE TO SIZE. They DIDN'T when I received them. So I had to exchange them (had not yet worn them outside at all).
I was ready to send them back but TWO different supervisors I spoke to about the matter offered to simply REPLACE the order first before I sent back the originals, & 1 manager even LITERALLY told me to KEEP the shoes on top of it (which I declined b/c they didn't fit and in fact hurt my feet, so there was little point in having them).
3.) One of the bargain bin items I bought was a drinking flask. The flask I ordered wasn't packaged right, was shipped BARE in the box left to be contaminated. No WAY was I going to risk my health & use it after that. So I called in to replace it which they FINALLY did.
4.) This upset me the most, and I will NEVER forgive them for this level of disrespect. A new sale came up for 20% off during Cyber Monday, in addition to 10 % off they owed me for previously having signed up for a new account, so I figured I'd take advantage of that.
The REPLACEMENT order was made on Monday, Dec. 2nd. I had gone 2 hours out of my way to the nearest Foot Locker earlier that day JUST to make sure these shoes would fit. I came home late at night & had to wait 2 hours on the phone just to get through to place this last order. The supervisor I FINALLY got in touch with (b/c the general reps are terrible at their jobs and simply can't be talked to), felt bad about all the inconveniences I had experienced that day and added, unbeknownst to me at the time, an extra $57 in promo credit to my account.
I got one of the last pairs in my size (which at the time of this writing are probably out of stock), in addition to a few other items. I waited 2 days, and never received so much as a freakin tracking number, which was strange b/c they were supposed to be shipped overnight.
Multiple phone calls to reps were dealt with unprofessionally; I was jerked around for those 2 days, blocked out of placing any subsequent orders, lied to about why, & then I finally escalated it to corporate. I found out FINALLY on Dec. 4th that they not only illegally CANCELLED my order, but deleted my account with ZERO access to my remaining funds. There was supposed to still be $67.04 in promo credit in my account, IN ADDITION to that large order I had already PAYED FOR and PLACED.
So not only did I not even get an order that was PLACED and PAID FOR already, they illegally redacted all store credit given to me (credit mind you, that I never specifically demanded at all myself), and stole about 27 dollars from my credit card that had helped fund the purchases.
*** This is TEXTBOOK fraud! You CAN'T treat customers this way & get away with it. I'm deeply upset. ***
