Well, where do I start? I worked for this corrupt company for 6mos, and let me tell you it was the most unfulfilling job I have ever had. I worked as a skip tracer. A person who called neighbors, relatives, Apt mgrs, Places of employement, tried to locate assests/property and even the debtor. All to find current information on the debtor to sue. And let me say the FDCPA laws were not followed; and that was encouraged. Crazy as it sounds, thats what I did. Don't get me wrong I'm not proud of what I did, but I can help those that are in debt with these loosers, and give you advise. First if you own them 2,000 dollars they will always double it when taking you to court. They will say that you owe them for lawyer expenses, and all these hidden cost that don't exist. They will call you and harass you, they will threaten to sue, threaten to take your property/assests, and all sorts of threats they will be thrown at you. Whatever you do don't pay. They will usually call you for about a year trying for you to pay. Make sure your phone numbers are unlisted. Make sure you tell you family and neighbors to not confirm you number or address. Remember if they can't get a hold of you that is who they will rely on to find out where your living, and where your working. If you don't pay them in about a year and they ahve current information like where you live, where you work they will try to get a rush judgement agianst you. Meaning they will send someone to your place of employment or home to serve you papers that they intend to sue you. Then they go to court and say that you owe them double than what you really owe them, and get a judement for that amount. That is how they get rich. If you noticed prior to going to court they always demand payment in full over the phone. Anyone thats been taken advantaged by these suckers should take them to court. Many ex-employees, and debtors who have taken them to court have won. They have law suits coming from every direction. One of the Collection Managers at the company had gotten fired while still on disability. Thats agianst the law. She currently is sueing them. All the managers at the company are controlled by the tyrant president Michael who happens to sleep with his employees, and buys them breast implants. Anyone thinking about working at this dump of a company should think twice. They are sinking so fast, and they know it. Anyone who is thinking of sueing the company will need their real address, not the mail drop box on thier website. Their address is 9738 Lincoln Village Dr Sacramento CA 95827. Good luck to all.

I have been victimized by them for about 8 years

AUTHOR: Mary v. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, July 31, 2010

First, THANK YOU for blowing the whistle on these vile people.

I experienced EVERYTHING you have mentioned. I was threatened, my friend was contacted and NCA claimed he was my employer and harassed him, which was awful because he was working on becoming a US citizen and it freaked him out and caused me to have anxiety attacks. They called me abusive names, they took me to court and had me produce all my bank records. And because once I was stupid enough to sign something a guy came to my door with (early on before they had ever contacted me), they were able to remove all the $$ from my bank accounts and they did it. I nearly lost my place of residence. They sent my landlord notices and hassled everyone they could. They threatened garnishment.

They harassed me for EIGHT years, and strangely, they have not bothered me lately so I am wondering what is going on. I am still paranoid about when/where they might strike next. They removed all the money I had in my PayPal account as well as a B of A account several times.

Luckily (sort of), I work for myself, and I don't own anything thanks to going nearly bankrupt years ago (which started all of this). They are really trying to get blood from a stone - they asked me to get the money from my family or friends! And the original amount was about 3 or 4 thou and now it's about 12K.

I hope that one of you disgruntled employees deleted my account :)

In any case, the relief you have given me by posting this is immeasurable and I cannot thank you enough for taking the time out to write this report, and help people that NCA has illegally harassed and stolen $$ from.

Since there was a judgment on me, can I still sue them? What kind of damages were people awarded?

Thank you a million. You are very brave to do this and I'm not a bit surprised to hear about Michael as I spoke to some really vile people there and they are lower than scum.

#7 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Ex employee as well

AUTHOR: Michelle - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, April 23, 2010

I worked for this company for a very short time in 2008. I had just graduated with my Criminal Justice Degree and was working as a Skip Trace Investigator. I have to agree with the original writer. This company is one of the worst companies to work for, I was so disgusted with how they ran things, When I had a supervisors approval to go to a training class for two days, I had an HR rep call me to tell me tat I did not have approval and than said I was laid off. I tried my best to do everything as legal as possible but so many people in there were breaking laws left and right. And as for Michael and his son Michael, they are to of the most horn dogs in a company. Luckly the company closed its doors!

They wont settle, they will just keep coming back for more. Stay off the phone with these people. Do everything in writing. Do yourself a favor and download a copy of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. (FDCPA) Google it and download the PDF version.. READ IT!!!

Send them a letter demanding they validate the debt. You can google these on line.

#5 Consumer Suggestion

Ex-Employee collector needs to learn the law!

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 02, 2008

First of all, you CANNOT [legally] get a judgement against anyone without FIRST suing them and winning. Thats just the way it is.

Second, it is ILLEGAL to sue in a debt collection case for anything over the base amount of the account. "Collection fees" and the like are ILLEGAL.

Getting lawyers fees and court costs in addition to the suit anount is NOT automatic. You have to be granted that amount separately. You cannot just add it in to the base amount of the suit.

Third, go back to school as you are borderline illiterate. That is probably why you were doing third party debt collections in the first place.

Did you know that victims of your illegal and unethical collections practices can sue YOU individually in addition to suing the collection agency?

I always go after the individual collector. Then, YOU pay my legal fees and costs.

TO Ex EMPLOYEE - I'm so worried I can't sleep after reading all the NCA nightmares!!!

AUTHOR: Frustrated... - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 02, 2008

I need your advice. I first made contact with NCA a few months ago over a debt that I did not believe I owed. The total they were asking for was less than $200 but I wanted to try to resolve it with the original company. After being unable to get things settled with the other company, I have decided just to settle with NCA. How do you suggest I do that so that the account will be closed and settled for good? I do NOT want to have to worry about legal fees and law suits!

Author of Original Report

POSTED: Monday, November 19, 2007

As the original author of this report. I'm glad that the information I provided could be of some help of either people that have been victims of these looser's, or individuals who are thinking of working for these people.

Yes the address listed in my report above is in fact their actual location where they do business. It's a pretty new building so the images you see on Google earth may be old. The are located right next door to the ITT Tech; you can't miss them.

As for the individual who would like to get in contact with me. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them over this site, and I will be happy to reply.

Where is NCA located?

AUTHOR: Terri - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, July 29, 2007

My mother was a victim of NCA Financial, too. Her letter has already been submitted here at RipOffReport.com. Yes, she still gets phone calls like they never went to court.

I wanted to comment on the ex-employee's report. I am happy that you got out of there. It is hard doing a job where you have to be the "bully" & do bad things to people you don't even know. I praise you for coming here & reporting what you know. I went on Google Maps last night after getting the new address for NCA from your report. The map landed me in the middle of the street on Lincoln Villiage Drive. There are parking lots on both sides of the street, but the businesses there look like they are on the adjacent street. What is with that? Is 9738 Lincoln Villiage Drive really the true address for NCA Financial?
