NCRS Debt Collect-Judy Nye - SEF Publishers Marketing Collection Scam by mail Concord North Carolina

I recently received a letter from NCRS-Debt Collect stating that I owe a cancellation fee of $289.99. The letter had grammatical errors and was partly hand written. The letter was threatening and stated to pay the cancellation fee or an additional fee of $300.00 would apply along with court costs. It stated that this must be paid by 3/31/09. The letter was dated 3/20/09 and I received it on 3/26/09.

I had no idea what this was about. The letter was from a collection manager Julianne-ext 210. At the bottom of the letter it stated to pay or call ASAP which was hand-written in pen and magic marker.

I called the number 704 464-6550 and got a recorded message to leave the invoice number, my name and phone number. A few days later a message from Judy 704 492-5284 was left on my answering machine. She called again on Sunday morning and said she was returning my call and wasn't sure it was really me on the phone, so she would send the information to me in the mail. I received the confirmation letter stating what I purchased on April 4, 2003. I paid for Time Magazine for 36 mos and never received the two free magazines or the ladies diamond quartz watch I was promised. I never cancelled my subscription and never heard from SEF until I received this collection letter from NCRS. I am not going to pay anything to this scam artist.

I recently contacted Detective David Johnson from Florida who is currently working on a case(s) regarding Judy Nye. He would like anyone else who has a complaint against this NCRS debt collect, Judy Nye or Sef to contact him at 941 747-3011 ext 2551, fax no. 941 744-3792. He has referred my case to the Wisconsin Atty General and US Postal Inspector.
