Bill Goldrick was the salesman that my fiance, Daniel, I dealt with at Neal's Dodge. Daniel had been to this dealership before to determine of he could be financed. He has no credit score being fresh out of college and never having a credit card or anything else to establish credit.

Bill was "100%" certain that Daniel could be financed without a co-signer and with a minimum down payment of $500. Daniel and I returned to the dealership on a Saturday ready to buy a car if we found one we liked and the payments were in our range.

Bill told us that a banker was there and we would be able to finalize our sale. We found a car and Bill "talked with the banker" to finalize the sale. Bill even told us that he had the president of the bank on the phone so we could drive off the lot the same day.

Daniel needed a co-signer and a minimum $1500 down payment. I co-signed for the loan and gave the dealership 3 $500 checks: one to be cashed immediately, one to be cashed in two weeks, and another to be cashed in four weeks.

Daniel and I signed all of the paperwork regarding financing and title transfer, ect. We sent approxiamately 4 hours at the dealership.

Two weeks after buying the car, I received a call from the finance company wanting to interview me about the car. In short they wanted to verify features of the car and insurance. There were no problems.

The next day Bill called me and said we needed to return the car. I asked why he said he had no idea and that the finance company would not approve the loan. i didn't understand because "the banker" was there when we were told we were approved for the loan.

He wanted the car returned by closing which is 7 p.m. The time was 6:30 and we live about 40 minutes away. I told him we would return it the following evening. He said he would have my checks waiting for me.

He arrived at the car dealership and there were no checks waiting for me nor a refund check for the $500 they had already cashed. He wanted me to leave him the car without getting my money back. I refused to return the car without my uncashed checks and refund check.

We returned with the car the following day. Bill had the money but would not destroy our paperwork or give me something in writing that suggested he would destroy it.

Bill is a liar and a con-man. He lied to us about the bankers being present and talking with the president to ensure that we were approved.

The finance company confirmed that nothing was wrong with our application for buying the car. Our credit was fine, insurance and everything else. The reason they would not finance the car was because it was priced much too high over book value and the interest rate for the first time buyer program was way too high. She also confirmed that bankers were not present at this business nor did anyone speak to the president on a Saturday.
