Neil S. Wolfe Neil Construction Company RIPPED US OFF! Threatened us! Aurora, Ohio

Hired Neil S. Wolfe/ Neil Construction Co., to build a 16 X 20 addition with a full basement on 7/4/12.  It is now 12/8/12, 5 months and he is not even close to being done.  He was to completely finish it.  He has gotten almost all of the money but we have gotten all the problems. 

He did not build the foundation at the same height as our original foundation so now we need a sump pump system.  This was not in our plans.  There is no concrete in the basement floor and no glass block windows have been installed.
Roof leaks, ridge vent not installed correctly.  For over 2 months I kept asking him when was he going to get the sewer stack vent cut thru the roof, I kept telling him how dangerous it was to be left like that with the methane gas coming into our house.... His response was tomorrow, tomorrow..

Around my foundation has not been filled in, there is a big pile of dirt sitting in my back yard that is going to have to be removed by hand.

He installed 3 windows and a patio door in the main room.  the windows are not level and in fact 1 of them is bowed and very hard to open, the patio door was not installed at the right height and is also not level.  There are no stairs outside, this is a safety issue. 

Electrical has been roughed in but not connected.  The room has not been finished patching, sanding, priming or painted, No finished flooring down.

Part of my drive way is missing due to the excavator breaking it up and he was supposed to replace it, this hasn't happened. 

But he knows how to threaten you with a lien on your property and tell you how all of these problems are your fault for interfering and if you don't give him more money he will stop the job.  If he would of been on the job more than 7 times in 5 months we would not have had to call him all the time and tell him about the problems he would of been here to see what his workers were doing and deal with things right away.  I believe he forgot whose house it was and whose money was paying for the addition and that we have a right to have these things done correctly.  I have had several other people contact me that are having the same problem with there jobs that he is doing.  I have only described briefly what has happened, but it has turned OUR DREAM INTO A NIGHTMARE!
