I had to go through the hassle of a Paypal dispute and claim process for this Power Seller that claimed to have a 100% money back guarantee. I had the 1+ carat diamond earrings checked by 2 jewelers, both of whom said they did not believe the center stones were authentic diamonds. The first was my local jeweler in downtown Seattle who used a meter on the diamonds but could not receive any signal indicating authenticity. They then referred me to a labratory in downtown Bellevue, WA that could do a more thorough examination.

The labratory looked at our earrings, that I had hoped would be authentic, and immediately stated that the center stones were either Cubic Zirconia, or a diamond base with a Cubic Ziroconia slice above the top to try to fool appraisers. In any case, I sent the earrings back immediately to Neiman's Jewelery expecting the 100% satisfaction guarantee to be honored. There initial claim was to call the FBI because they don't sell CZ jewelry. I offered to assist with any FBI investigation but nothing further came of that claim. They then went silent after talking to me on the phone seeming friendly and willing to help right the situation. I never heard anything more and was out the earrings that I sent back to them and the $1400 I paid them. I then opened a Dispute and Claim through Paypal, sharing all of the dirt I had collected on these folks and received a full refund about 40 days later.

What a pain in the rear. I would suggest that you not purchase any high priced jewelery through Neiman's, and Buyer Beware! They seemed great up until the time that the Paypal Claim was filed and then they wanted nothing to do with me. I am just glad it is over.

Call the BBB and let your feedback direct other buyers with complaints to do the same.

File a complaint with the BBB and the Attorney General. Let your negative feedback comment direct other scammed buyers to do the same. Maybe they will. Also for about $75 you can file a claim in small claims court. Make the seller take a trip to meet you in court. I would.
