Net Detective - netdetective.com fradulent sales pitch ripoff Internet

Net Detective states that for $30.00 you get unlimited access to their database for a year. They say you can do all the background searches you want and they specifically quote reasons you would do these searches; to check for criminal history, bad credit, etc. BUT once you sign up you discover that all you can access is a persons name, address and occasionally phone number.

If you want anything more than that (like a criminal history, as in the reason I signed up for the service) then you have to sign up for net detective plus which costs you an additional $30.00 a month. As if I'm going to give them any more of my money after they outright lied. I've asked for a full refund as they supposedly have a money back guarantee but we'll see how that goes.
