In Dec of 2007 I decided to try out for a post office position, little did I know what i was getting into...
The post office hiring process was slow and it took them almost 8 months before offering me a postal test. I took the test, and was never given any results and led to numerous dead ends regarding any type of employment.
Netspan claims to be the "host" company. Not directly linked to the USPS, but just a distributor of postal exam testing materials. Its refund policy states you must provide (along with the testing books:
1. You must provide a copy of your letter of ineligibility from the U.S. Postal Service.
2. Your Return Authorization (RA) number must be issued no more than 60 days after the postmark date on your letter of ineligibility
I followed both of these steps and returned by postal testing supplies a week before Christmas of 2008. After numerous attempts at contacting the Netspan on-site supervisor, I recieved no follow-up info on my refund, and have been told by 3 different company reps that she will return my calls at her "earliest convenience". I was told by one Netspan representative that my refund had already been processed and was in the mail...by the next time I called back another rep told me their computers had no trace of me ever being in their system. This entire venture has cost me 160$ so far (130$ for the books, 30$ to ship them back).
As a warning to all future applicants....DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY!

In regards to this customer's claims, the customer was refunded. Guess it's just a case of being a bit too impatient.
Netspan Group Refund Policy:
Criteria-
1. You have taken an available exam, but did not score 70% or higher.
2. You received a USPS employment rejection letter
Procedures-
For all refunds, you must call our customer service department at 1-800-914-1197 to receive a Return Authorization (RA) number which will be valid for 14 days; only one RA number will be issued per order. All package contents must be free of markings and tears. Used materials will NOT be accepted.
For a refund due to not passing the exam, the following conditions must be met:
1. You must provide a copy of your letter of ineligibility from the U.S. Postal Service.
2. Your Return Authorization (RA) number must be issued no more than 60 days after the postmark date on your letter of ineligibility.
For a refund due to not being hired, the following conditions must be met:
1. You must provide a copy of your USPS employment rejection letter.
If the proper criteria have been met, your refund will be processed within 7 business days of receipt of the package and accompanying documentation. A Return Authorization (RA) number is required. You will be refunded the full package purchase price.
