My son bought tickets online from New Era Tickets for a WWE event in Loveland Colorado for May 31. The tickets were sent regular mail to my home address, which is where he lived at the time since he was getting ready to move to Chicago the day after the event. The WWE had an issue with the venue since the Denver Nuggets were in the playoffs. They could not use the Pepsi Center the night they had booked. Needless to say since they could not hold the event there on the night of June 1st they also cancelled the event the night before in Loveland. I am having a hard time figuring out how this is the wwe fan's fault. My son moved to Chicago and inquired as to how to get his money back since he was not able to attend the event on the new night scheduled in August due to him moving out of state. He gave me the tickets when he left and asked that I send them back, keep in mind when he received the e-mail instructions on where to send the tickets there was no stated deadline on sending the tickets back. I sent them certified return reciept on 6/8 but for some reason they didn't sign for them until 6/13. I think that the reason they didn't sign for them until that date is ironically enough the "promoter's" deadline for refunds was 6/12. We have gone rounds and rounds with these people trying to get the money back. The now have the money and the tickets so to me it seems like they are holding something that has been bought and paid for so it is someone else's property. It was requested that they send the tickets back to my address which is where they were orginally sent. Oh but the kicker is that they will send them here however my son must sign for them. Ummmm as I explained before he now lives about 1,000 miles away in Chicago. Why didn't they have to be signed for when they were originally sent? I am going to file complaints with the attorney general's offices in all of the state involved. I have also turned all of the info including the e-mails that came from their customer service department. They said there is a disclaimer on the tickets that protects them. Sure wish we could read it but we no longer have the tickets, they were sent back. I am at a loss since I have contacted the wwe and they said that we had to get the tickets back from New Era and send them to the wwe to get the money refunded but how can that be done when the tickets are being held hostage. I am waiting to see what the response will be from their "employee". There is no excuse that would make any of this make any sense.

WWE to the rescue

AUTHOR: Penny - (U.S.A.)

Kudos to the WWE, they were able to obtain the tickets and are issuing a refund. I would still purchase tickets to their events but never again through New Era Comcast tickets. Once the WWE stepped in then the problem was corrected.
