I live in the Milwaukee/Chicago area, and in June I was excited to learn that a modeling convention was coming to nearby Chicago. I had heard about these things in Orlando, FL and thought that it would be a great way to showcase my talents. The fee of $378 seemed kind of high, but not really compared to other conventions. So I paid the money and eagerly awaited the convention.
A couple of weeks before the convention were supposed to start, I receive word that the convention has been cancelled for some unknown reason. So, I immediately contacted NFC to see what the deal was, and they said they would refund my money within a month. I waited, and wait, but still no money. I contacted them again and they said they had been busy, but they would get my check in the mail shortly, I waited some more and no check.
Now I am $378 out, and nothing to show for it.
New Face Connection is just a scam to get money out of peoples dreams, highly condonable. Don't TRUST THEM!!!!

Dear David,
The New Face Connection event was cancelled due to a lack of participants.
However, you also elected to withdraw your participation prior to the event dates.
I know that Stone Siegel personally wrote a check for you and mailed it to the then current address in WI. The envelope was returned.
I also know that Stone Siegel has requested your correct address via email on numerous occasions to no avail.
If you contact him, even now, he will refund your money. His email address remains the same.
Outside of this, there is nothing more he can do to appease you.
By the way, if you feel that $398 was a lot to pay, try attending any of the other similar events and you will pay many times that amount for entry alone. This does not include transportation and accommodations.
