This post is filled with inaccurate comments about our company’s dealings and our ownership by someone who we believe must have been associated with the prior company he mentions.

Mr. Ingalls, now deceased, did have some involvement with our company, but never had any ownership in the business. 

Mr. Gandy has never been associated with 800 New Look in any way.  Much more importantly, 800 New Look has a great record of standing behind our work and paying our employees, contractors and suppliers promptly.

When Gandy replaced our roof, we made a complaint that their what supposed to be Gandy vented drip edge was never cut in for proper air flow. They used hammers to make holes. Gandy ridge vent also was same practice: used hammers to make an opening, it's not like we didn't have any electric outlets outside, we did have 2 on front and back. My husband was home all that time and never heard any circular saw sound. When we called Gandy, some nice voice female answered phone, when I requested to talk to owner, she forward us to one of the owners she said, it was Steve Ingalls, I expressed my emotions and he said the job is done and their crew did nothing wrong, but when i said that another roofer took a look at their job and how it was done, Steve was really unhappy, he was saying things that was really rude, we paid a lot of money for that roof and it was supposed to be a lifetime warranty, we felt like we were ripped off. Shortly after we did put house for sale and sold it. We bought a house and moved to South Lyon MI, and of course house is about 10 years old and roof is leaking so I went on line and requested a contractor to give us an estimate, and what a coincidence, Steve Ingalls from 800 New Look called us and left a message, same person I spoke before. We never called back because we are planning to live in this house for a long time and we decided to do a better research on a roofing contractors. My point is, if you don't want to be ripped off stay away from this kind of companies. 

I had Gandy put in a new fiberglass frame living window in my home and I love it. The only reason that I found the negative comments online is because I did a engine search of Gandy and found a plethora of problems or issues from customers or ex-employees. Well I don't have any issues but this is my story.

Steve Ingalls has opened a new company, however, it is not with John Gandy. It is with Kurt Price, a sales rep that worked for Steve at Gandy. I know for a fact that John Gandy is not nor would ever again have any business dealing with Steve. Steve screwed him over just as bad as everyone else. He is as bad as everyone thinks he is.
