The two banks offered me guaranteed credit card if I paid $37.50 for two cards(millenium bank), and $99 for a card(bank of america). I have not heard from them. I have just found out that the checks has been cashed by both banks. I have a copy of the checks. Please help get rid of these scums of the financial world. I will be willing to testify against these fraudulent establishments.
Thanks for your assistance.

STAY AWAY FROM CREDIT CARDS

AUTHOR: Cat - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, June 30, 2008

Have you not figured out that having Credit Cards have not been a good thing in your life? If you are having to have a secured card by putting down a deposit it is because that is the only way you can recieve one. That means you have poor credit to start with, you have owed at one time , if not now, on other credit cards.

Stick with CASH, start by making a budget and getting out of debt! It is amazing how much money you will have with no credit cards! There will not be a need for one and instead you will have something every store takes........here is a hint....

It is green

It is silver or copper......

It is called MONEY

Stay away from credit cards, they have not blessed you ! Stop sending money you need for basic needs to credit cards. That money could have been spent elsewhere.

BOA does have secured credit cards. Your minimum deposit is $300.00. You can go into your local branch to apply.

Don't know about Millenium Bank, but BOA doesn't have "guaranteed" cards

In fact, the credit standards for getting a Bank of America card are pretty tough with the minimum FICO being in the high 600's to qualify, and I have never known them to charge an application fee. They do have a secured card for people with weaker credit, but that requires a deposit. I am willing to bet that both offers came with small print "on approved credit".
