Less than one year ago, I purchased a Titan Tankless Water Heater. It worked for nearly a week. I had to ship it back for repair at my own expense. It came back, working for nearly three months. This was the last time it worked.

After the second time it was sent back, it was re-installed and it never produced hot water. This time, they were willing to send a shipping label so it wasn't being shipped back at my expense.

When it was returned again, it still did not produce hot water.

I called them to get a refund, since the unit was still under warranty, but was stone walled with an all sales are final line.

I was sold a lemon of an appliance, and this is how it is treated.

The second time was after three months of use. It just sudden stopped producing hot water. After receiving it back, it still did not produce hot water. Sent it back in. It still does not produce hot water and the company is refusing to give a refund while this unit is still under warranty.

We need to check out records but the changes are that the unit is working. THe problem is the sizing of the unit for the appolcation. The incoming water is just to cold. We would recommed a larger unit
Initial Response Summary
The sizing is wrong

Water heater is their most powerful unit. Heater failed in October when the water was still above 50 degrees. Website claims that at 1.5 gallons per minute, temperature rise is 95 degrees. Therefore, it should not have a problem raising 55 degree water above 100 degrees at this flow rate. The temperature of the water would barely reach 100 degrees. This does not match what they are advertising. http://www.tanklesswaterheater.com/product3.php

We received this unit in for repair work but it was retuned because there was nothing wrong with the unit. If the customer wants a refund he can send it in to the place of purchase along with his receipt.

Nothing wrong with the unit? When it was operating, I found pieces of it in the water lines! Worst customer experience ever! Never do business with Niagara Industries and never buy a Titan Tankless Water Heater. You will be burned, but not by hot water!
