Niko-Laos, which is now doing business under the name TNG Worldwide, Inc., is a scam. Niko-Laos/TNG leads prospective employees to believe that they are interviewing for a job with a legit marketing firm. In reality, they hire people to become commission-only door-to-door salesman and lead them to believe that they will be running their own office in a year if they stick with the company.

I worked for them for a year because I believed the owner, Eddie Sardinha's, lies. When I realized that my hard work and effort were being used to keep the Hollywood, FL office afloat, and that I had no chance of advancing in this company, I left. Looking back, I should have never worked for them.

Aside from bothering people at home and at work, in an effort to get people to buy things like AT&T home services and DirecTV, their managers encourage new hires to lie in order to get people to sign up for services. "Tell them they're eligible for a special offer that's only available today?" is the most common line new hires are told to use. Other managers have told rookies to tell potential customers that the service they're signing up for is free for the first couple months, and they have the option of canceling their service any time, when no such free offer exists.

I admit, I used the special offer line to generate sales. I never told anyone they were signing up for a free service that didn't exist. Even when I was having a lousy sales day, there is a certain line I was not willing to cross.

If you're looking for a career in Marketing, stay away from Niko-Laos/TNG Worldwide, Inc. They believe that fraud is the best way to manage staff and win customers. I can't believe these people are still allowed to operate.

TRUE STORY

AUTHOR: Lebron - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 10, 2010

How is this place still open? They should have the entire office burned to the floor...If youre out of state and reading this, you might as well stay out of FL for a legit job, theres a lot of this going on. If youre in Hollywood and drive by this place, feel free to leave a flaming turd in front of the door addressed to Eddies scamer a*s. Hopefully an enraged store owner dumps sugar into Eddies gas tank.
