I responded back after several issues with the payment options, it seems that the only way to set up or go further in the interview process was to apply for a prepaid credit card which you paid up front 9 dollars and 3 or so dollars more monthly.  I balked and was told that I should sign up as the direct deposit option was free.

I balked again and the recruiter told me that I was wasting too much time on such a minor issue and wished me well with my other job offers.

It is clear that these are scam sites only set up to get people to sign up for credit cards or money transfer cards, as well as put their social security numbers on site to be done with gosh only knows.  I say beware to anyone looking to work for this company they are a scam.

Lastly, I checked their address in DE, 40 E Main Street, Newark DE, well that building does not have their firm listed only thing close is a UPS mailbox rental at that site :-)

Confused

AUTHOR: nix - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 13, 2011

I am a little confused with the author of the post. Couldn't you resolve any differences with Fortune? You implicated them that they are doing some type of credit card fraud. If you conduct business consultancy, isn't it strange for a person on that level to come on Ripoff Report and file a complaint because of a $10 per month fee?

Dude I wouldn't want you to do any type of consulting for me if this is the way you handle your problems. What is your company name?

Threatening emails

AUTHOR: Bree - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 12, 2011
On the day of 4/12/11

I rec'vd the following email around 5:27pm from Nixam, Fortune500i

"Mr. (my last name),

Please confirm if the following is your home address so that your account closure documents can be delivered by one of our representative in Flushing:

(My home address)"

This email was strange they had no reason to contact me... I sent no documents to them it was only a online job application, why would they need to "deliver" something personally to me????  I sent them the below email response.

____________________________

"I don't have an account with you....and why is someone calling  and threatening me on the phone today, his phone number is 588-876-6008.  He asked me if I knew your company and if I was aware of what I had done to you....then told me I had mad a big mistake, etc....quite disturbing.

Your methods of recruitment and now HR management again seem quite unorthodox.  If you have anymore issues about my application or an account of any kind, please feel free to call me to discuss.  If any more threats by anonymous parties continue or any more ambiguous emails follow about my address...I will seek the appropriate legal remedies.

I hope truly that this is some sort of misunderstanding."

I then got this below email back from them, it was over the top!

_____________________________

"No one called you from this company and made threats to you. If you have done something to be concern about and need to look over your shoulders, then that is your business not ours.
We have over 30 representative in New York, that make a good living sending us leads. When we are forced to lay-off workers in the NY area, We will inform them of the situation with you. Maybe you can personally explain to them why they are no longer employed and cannot provide for their family. Actually a few of them already know about you.

You are a character! slandering our company and act as if all is okay. Mr. (my last name), we know everything about you already. Our investigator from Flushing works very fast.Either you are insane or just don't understand the seriousness of your actions. For a person with a on-line company (I have a online site that I do consulting from that was listed on my resume that I sent to them), you actions are beyond absurdity.

Maybe you thought that you could hide behind the Internet...Not This Time. And I'm sure that you did not expect us to be so strongly connected to NY. Remember when 42nd St had all those Kong Fu Movie theaters? only a Native New Yorker will know this.

Make sure that you have facts that we are doing a scam, because we will be going after your assets. From today, your life will never be the same; your slander and other actions will be very costly.

With a smile on my face, you go and have a nice evening now."

Crazy!!!!??? They are obviously aware of the crazy phone call as the manner in which they respond is not balanced or professional.  I fear it is the same man who called that is writing these emails.  Never in my life have I dealt with a company with such a shady and unprofessional manner.  I will leave it at that, I have the emails and I have the phone number documented and can defend myself if need be in the courts or out.

I hope this helps anyone else who has had an experience with this company.

Threatening caller

AUTHOR: Bree - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 12, 2011

On the afternoon of 4/12/11 I got a phone call from a number, (588) 876-6008, I did not recognize it so I let it go to voicemail, to my surprise the number called again, this time I picked up.

By my observation of the voice on the other end it was a West Indian accented man age over 30.

The man asked me very firmly

"Is your name....???  Is your name...???" (I leave my name out for obvious reasons)

I answered the man and said yes that is my name.

The man then proceeded to say almost in a mocking fashion..

"Are you aware of a company Nixam investor group?"

"Are you aware of Nixam?!!!"

I answered yes...surprised but also intrigued as to who in the world this was.

the man continued.

Ok you know what u did!

You know what u did to them!

Well you made a big mistake!

You will see!

Have a nice day

He then promptly hung up, strange and scary, well I guess we will see what I have done and what he will do to me because of it.  Will keep Ripoff Report posted.
